*UPDATE We have had contact with the office manager. She said they will address issues with staff regarding cleanliness and proper procedures. She gave us a full refund for our troubles. She stated she is aware of matanence needs and broken equipment, and is hoping investors address it soon.
We had my grandsons birthday here on 1/7/2024. The upstairs party areas were dirty. There was food left on tables. Crumbs left on the floor. A nasty mop bucket left out with an inch or so of filthy water in it. Only one slide was working. There is no heater for the larger pool so it's freezing in the winter in ND. The hot tub jets did not work for more then half the time we were there. The equipment in the kiddy pool was worn out,or not working properly. The pads at the end of the slides were missing or so worn out that you slipped on it. The paint is pealing on the edges of pool. Then another child puked in the kiddy pool and you let kids keep playing in it while fishing chunks of puke out of it and around the other playing kids. Your hand railings were so rusty that when you grab the bars you cut your finger. 5 out of ten guests we had did indeed cut fingers on hand rails for the slide. I have picture proof. Oh and your staff left our food to get cold, sitting for 20 min past the time set. We were also the first party of the day at open so they left it unclean like that from at least day before. I feel it us a reasonable expectation to have a clean and maintained facility. Will not be booking again with them. This was not...
Read moreThe hotel room was nice and clean. The continental breakfast was good. Had good variety. Why this stay was only ok, because of the waterpark. For how busy they were, they needed more than 3 employees working. They were out of towels BIG time and instead of grabbing them off a shelf, you grabbed them from the laundry cart. The games were fun, but some were a rip off. You'd swipe your game card once and the game wouldn't start, but yet it took money off the card. Also, a lot of the games weren't working right and not noted "out of order" and a lot of the games are a $1.00 to play. Although this can't be prevented, there was an "accident" in the big pool. They had to shut down the slides as well, leaving the kid pool and hot tub. Which is fine, I understand the protocols that they have to follow. They need to have more barriers when an issue like this occurs though. A lot of kids tried going into the pool during the cleaning. Also, don't turn on the slides if they are meant to be inoperable, unless that was needed to help circulate the chemicals, cool, but need to have better barriers to prevent kids from using the area. Word of mouth travels fast, so the communication of the 3 employees to parents to let them know they could use the pool again could have been better too. I'm sure the one employee got tired of answering the same questions over and over again, wondering when the pool will be up...
Read moreI give this 3 1/2 stars because the kids seemed to have a lot of fun and didn’t care about some things I noticed as a young teen.
Multiple injuries occurred. When going down the purple slide, it’s really easy to knock your head if you don’t slide down carefully, especially for the littles who aren’t very careful in the first place. Also it scratches you up if you don’t sit up slightly, which is annoying if you want to go a little faster.
The steps were so slippery and rusted that my cousin slipped and smashed her nose. She was sent to the ER because of this.
The place seemed a little run down. The place overall looked crusty. The larger pool was okay, but the little kid pool was cloudy and looked disgusting.
When closing, they don’t give a warning or anything, they just shut everything down. Me and my little brother we’re about to slide down the purple slide when the water turned off, which was very hazardous. If we went down a second earlier we would’ve had to scoot down the thing to get out. They should close it a few minutes before closing the pool and check the slides before turning it off.
It was overall okay, I was just upset about those things that should be fixed for...
