Rocky's Burgers, Franks & Fries — Restaurant in Minot

I called because I found pieces of plastic in my grilled chicken sandwich. While eating, I thought it was cartilage, but took them from my mouth and it was black plastic, as thick as plastic silverware, but small like the size of a freckle. To add, as I picked my sandwich apart there was another piece the same size and many much smaller pieces scattered. The worker offered to make me a new one and I said “No, I just wanted to let you know that there’s plastic in the food, so no one else eats plastic.” I regret not taking pictures of this, but I was so disgusted, distraught, and with little time left of my lunch break after I made the call. I also felt it could have been a mistake, the worker probably broke something next to the food and was too scared of the consequences to throw out the ingredients they had contaminated. I just hope this was a one time thing (when even that is too much), it doesn’t happen again, and that the worker I talked to actually did something about it.

bad customer service. The lady taking orders up front had zero idea what she was doing, had zero idea what we were ordering, and had zero care for what we were saying. We went to eat INSIDE because the drive thru line was very long. ordered dine in 2 burger meals with milkshakes. A worker threw down a bag of our food onto the table and took the number tab. no drinks? food in a bag? I thought that ordering dine in meant it would come on the trays just like every other person had at the tables? I went to talk to someone upfront to get our drinks or try to understand why we didn’t get the same service as everyone else and the lady was “nice” in the way of helping but also not listening. she left so another sweet lady gave us our drinks and some trays to eat our food on. OH the lady that left walked by my husband and make the comment “the food tastes the same in a bag” lucky it was him. what if another customer heard that? where is the customer service? where is good representation of the company? after me there were 2 other couples complaining about missing something. but hey overall the food was soggy and mid but those milkshakes made...

Giving this place a SOLID 5-stars after eating there on Saturday. Our kids came home with some and after taking a bite, my wife and I immediately decided to go get our own and eat in-restaurant. We both ordered a normal burger and large fries and weren’t disappointed. Everything was fresh and flavor was spot on for a solid burger. As it was just opening, it was rather busy but the staff made sure the place was constantly picked up and asked us how we liked the food/atmosphere (it’s awesome by the way).

These guys did an excellent job of keeping folks fed and dealt with the crowds wonderfully, with everyone I saw leaving with a smile on their face and a full stomach. I also think it’s great that the owner decided to put a great restaurant in an awesome location on the North side of town. There really isn’t much to offer so it’s nice to have this close to the house as an option.
