I went here with my girlfriend tonight about 6:00 pm. When we walked in we were greeted by a lady behind the bar who was wearing glasses and had her hair pulled back in a pony tail. She asked us how many was in our party and we replied two. She told us we could sit at two different "low- top tables" that sat two people. When I told her that I preferred to sit a a high top table (as there were two available) she informed us that "she" preferred that we sat at a table that did not sit four people. I'm 6' 2" and I prefer to sit at a high top table. There were six other people sitting inside dining besides my girlfriend and I. So they were not extremely business nor was there a wait. We ended up sitting at the bar and we were the only ones sitting there. I think ultimately what rubbed me the wrong way was the way the lady said what she said and also the fact that we were there roughly forty-five minutes to an hour and no one came in and attempted to sit at the two tables that we had preferred to sit at. So, she took care of customers that were not even there by leaving two four top tables open and failing to take care of the paying customers that were there trying to give them business. Such a disappointing...
Read moreGreat way to spend a "Wine down Wednesday"! They have half off all flights and they offer a few: White, Red, and Bold Red or mix & match.
I originally did the Bold Red flight w/a swap out for a wine on their menu that wasn't in the flight. I paired this with the bacon-wrapped dates. It was a match made in heaven! The dates, btw, are absolutely to die for! Soooo good!
Since it was half-off the flights, I decided to do a 2nd flt of mix & match whites and rose. I paired this with the bacon-wrapped dates just to see what the difference would be. They paired well w/this flight as well, but different flavors in both the dates and wines came out w/this 2nd one. Both times were delicious perfection! I finished with a cup of espresso, which was a little too acidic for my liking.
The space is cozy and well-appointed and there is both indoor and patio seating. They have bottles for sale and they do not charge a corking fee. There is also plenty of seating at the bar and the staff here are engaging, friendly, and fun to talk to.
Definitely will return for one of their fully hosted wine-tastings and they have a ladies-only tasting. Event details can be found on...
Read moreI have passed by here plenty of times and finally had a chance to stop in on a Saturday morning. I looked at the menu online before going and had my heart set on a breakfast skillet. I head over and get greeted immediately by a friendly staff member behind the bar. Place wasn’t overly crowded so I opted to sit at the bar. Brought over a menu immediately and the same item I saw online I wanted, was on the menu so I ordered that. Just to be met with the chef hadn’t had time to make the hash browns or something like that. So obviously disappointed the one thing I came for I couldn’t get. But I pressed on and ordered the steak wrap with chips and side salad with a sweet tea. It was very tasty and filling and that sweet tea was literally the absolute best I’ve ever had. So good had to ask the waitress what brand do they use because I’d never tasted tea that good lol. I love the whole vibe of the place, everyone was so friendly from staff to the patrons at the bar sitting near me. I’ll definitely be...
