We ordered lunch from here today. We were looking forward to getting it not only cause we were starving but because we thought it would be good stuff. What a failure. The sandwich was supposed to be Cuban but looked nothing like one. Only ham and cheese and the bread was soggy and tasted old. The other dish was a bowl, which was beyond cold and the Vaca Frita in it took a while to chew in an effort not to choke on it. You did not include utensils or napkins. So we had to go looking for that. 🙄 We happened to be at a hospital near by. I can't understand why the food would arrive cold. And even if we were far, you should take measures to ensure it arrives hot or at least as warm as possible. The plantain chips were horrible too. Cuban Guys? No way. Either you don't know what you are doing or you simply don't care. Never again will I waste my money on you. I am Cuban and I know good Cuban food when I see it. There are too many good places outhere to eat these kind of things from, for sure you are not one of them. Life is too short to eat...

I ordered a steak sangawich. Single or double? Never been asked that before. I thought of every steak sandwich I've ordered and thought one single Palomilla steak should be enough. ($8+ vs $10+). I paid and went to the back where the guys were cooking my steak. It looked like a steak yum. I asked the cook if that was Palomilla and he said yea. Hum, again, never seen that before. So i went back and ordered the second steak. Ready to pay$2 extra. the girl didn't find the button for a second steak. Another guy told her to just press this and that and the charge came up. She said $4+. Stand by. The menu says 8 vs 10, it should be $2. The guy rudely said that's the price. I asked him to refund my card and recharge me for the 2 pieces. He said he couldn't. Can't do that! I was confused. I paid and ate the sangawich. I was passed but wasn't in the mood to argue and go somewhere else. Food is OK. Sangawich is big but I will not be coming here again. This is an Awesome idea for a Cuban restaurant. I've been all around the states and have seen plenty of Mexican type of restaurants that serve a rice bowl. This is better than that. You have your choice of all different types of meat with rice and black beans. Good size and good food. We ordered a bowl and 2 steak sangwiches. The bowl was loaded with everything including salad. The sangwiches were two sizes. 4oz or 8oz. of meat. I got the 4oz.i should have gotten the 8. Oh well, next time. The sangwiches were very good and tasty. The whole thing was served very quickly. We were in and out in no time. Coffee's to go and we were on the road again. This is a great place, right off the turnpike. Convenient location, depending where you are coming from or going to. I need to come back and try some other dishes....
