Last Saturday I ordered my Favorite Tacos ( Caribbean Carne ) from the Talkin' Tacos App. It said that my order should be delivered within the hour. Until the UberEats Driver decided to turn around before picking up my order. Then started wasting time driving in circles almost to avoid picking up my food from the restaurant. I sent a message to the Uber driver asking if they were going to deliver my tacos that were ready and getting cold. I didn't get e response so i had to call the restaurant because the delivery time kept getting pushed back longer & longer. I spoke to Joe and asked for an update on my order. He understood my displeasure with the experience and took down my phone number, and said he would get to the bottom of the Uber Driver situation and give me a call back with an update. He is a man of his word and called back to update me on my order. I thanked him for connecting with the driver but then let him know that even though the driver had finally picked up my order he was once again driving in circles instead of delivering my order. That's when Joe Asked me what I had ordered and for my address. Joe took it upon himself to remake my order of Caribbean Carne Tacos and personally deliver them himself! I was just asking if there was a way for me to reduce the Tip I alloted to the Driver seeming they were the one at fault here. Joe said he would rather make sure i received my order than potentially lose a customer. I was surprised with that choice and extremely grateful because Joe was able to remake and hand deliver my order while the Uber Driver was still running circles. I finished the meal Joe delivered before the Uber Driver showed up with cold tacos. ( over an hour late for the second time ) I want to thank Joe for going above & beyond In hopes for not losing a repeat customer, and it worked. I am a lifelong Taco-terian, And Talkin' Tacos is my Go-To spot. Their food is amazing, super cool staff that is always happy to help, and people like Joe who make sure their loyal clients aren't getting a negative experience because of Bad Uber Eats Drivers. Thanks again to Joe for saving the day and creating a client for life. I think I'll just pick up my orders...
Read moreI went to Talkin' Taco, a casual halal Tex-Mex eatery for lunch in Miramar, FL, and it did not disappoint. The first thing that I noticed was the colorful artwork throughout this cozy restaurant. The two owners started out as a taco food truck during the pandemic and later opened their first restaurant and now have 15+ locations. They are also the official taco partner with the Miami Dolphins.
As you enter customers, order via a kiosk and are given a number when seating. They have a unique Tex-Mex twist.such as Birria Bao, Birria Pizza, Southwest Chicken Tacos, Birria Ramen, Strawberry n Cream/Cookies n Cream Churros, Birria Taki Tacos, Vegan tacos, Caribbean Carne Tacos and so much more! Great customer search and price range is between $2.99 to $18.99.

Read moreI ordered Tacos at 9:24 PM on the website for pickup at 10:30PM. I scheduled the order by accident for the set time and asked if they could accommodate the mistake. The woman running the line (I’m assuming the manager) stated that I would have to wait until my pickup time since they have a queue of orders, which I was fine with. I sat down while I waited for the order. In the meantime I ordered Churros and a soda for ASAP pickup and got them on time, albeit the churros were just dough and barely had any cinnamon on them. I inquired about my online order for the tacos at 10:36 PM asking if they were ready and she stated they were not. I asked if she had a specific time for when they would be ready and she couldn’t even give me a time. She didn’t look to see where my order was placed in the queue either. All she offered me was to cancel the order. I expected to have my order on time considering it was queued up as it should have been, but the fact that no time range could have be given after waiting the full hour and no extra care went into looking to see where my order was in the queue was very disappointing. This is my first time at Talkin’ Tacos and the experience was terrible. It didn’t feel like good customer service was at the forefront of this restaurant. I expected something else based on the amount of reviews, but it also seems like a lot of the recent reviews seem fake considering there are quite a few of one star reviews with a similar experience as me. I did have the order cancelled, but the overall experience and disappointment left me with no appetite. I see the restaurant responds to these one star reviews, but it doesn’t seem any type of change has been made to the establishment based on the feedback. Just a bunch of fake reviews to keep it business as usual. Very...
