Read moreWILL NEVER RETURN HERE. I seldom write reviews yet felt compelled to do so here due to the terrible experience my family received here today. Craving Mexican food, we went here for dinner. Wow, so many things went wrong: 1) The cashier was bothered by my 12-year old son when he could not articulate his order clearly and he had to repeat himself. We even got an eye roll from the cashier! 2) If you’re going to have photos tied to menu items, as a customer I don’t think it’s too much to ask that the item you actually receive somewhat looks like the photo. That’s not what we got. We ordered carne asada tacos. Photo on their board included carne asada and lettuce yet we get shredded beef, bell peppers and onions? Shredded beef!? We even brought the food up to the counter to confirm it was what we ordered and he said “yes that’s carne asada tacos”. Umm I’m sorry but I’ve been to hundreds of Mexican restaurants and that’s not what they are supposed to look like. 3) I ordered a 2oz (supposed to be 1/4 cup) side of rice for my daughter and see photo - a small salsa container with rice? I don’t think I need to say anything more here.
STAY AWAY FROM HERE. They give you cheap-quality items that are not what you actually order, and staff is not the most client friendly. For $15-20 a plate, go to a different Mexican restaurant. You’ll be...
Read moreWent in to grab a carne asada burrito at 1:30 p.m. on a Friday. There was only one guy in front of me in line who ordered a bean and cheese burrito. I waited approximately 20 minutes or more for a simple carne asada burrito. To my disappointment someone that came in after me actually got their food ordered and handed to them before me. I just the food took so long. This is not a good place to catch a quick bite. jumped in my car and hoped that the burrito would be excellent after waiting so long. To my disappointment this carne asada was nothing like any carne asada at all. It was more like some cheap chuck steak that was diced up into cubes. There was no guacamole in the burrito but a dash of onions and diced tomatoes. Not. Flavorful at all. I got two containers of the hottest salsa at the salsa bar and was also disappointed with that. The salsa was very Bland and was not hot at all. I'm curious how this place stays in business. In addition the prices were on the higher end perhaps the overhead is quite high in the area. There is no drive thru so you have to go inside and Order and wait. It's probably a good thing they do not have a drive-through because as long as it took to prepare a carne asada burrito they would have had traffic backed up. Don't waste...
