We went there for the first time for the Easter egg hunt on a weekend. The place had ample parking and it was very busy. Lots of community involvement and the grounds were very clean. The playground itself was interesting even though it was a little small, but there are also other points of interest created by the communities, such as a functioning watershed and an explanation about why it was there. We had a great day there. It was never necessary for us, but I did not notice there were restrooms available there.

Nice lunch spot near all of the restaurant on Johnson Drive in Mission. But, the park is far enough away from the main road to feel like you are "away" for just a moment. The park could use a few more tree, so the parking area will be very bright at midday. There is a trail for walking, playground equipment, and a sports field. There is also plenty of just grass to run around and enjoy. Great place for a picnic.

Recently visited the park for the Mission Summer Family Picnic following the July 4th holiday. Inflatables, games, activities, a free hot dog dinner, and the CFD #2 was close by to cool off the kids. The playground was clean and kept well. Thank you for hosting the free event + the fireworks!

This park was in my life almost everyday. It was built when I was about 7 years old. Used to spend so many days here no matter what time of year it was. When I felt like running away from home as a kid, I would always come here since it was right down the street from my house, and I would just sit there for hours. Anytime I'd get upset and leave the house, my parents always knew where I'd end up. I used to cut across the field here twice a day in highschool because it was my route to and from school. So many memories here. It's nice and open, taken care of very well, and every first or second weekend of July, there is a huge party thrown here where hundreds of people show up. They have free food, bouncy house, face painting, dj, and the Mission Fire Dept shows up and sprays everyone out...

It was mowed. I don’t know if we caught it on a bad day or what, but there was trash everywhere. Bathrooms were disgusting. Play area was nice. Has a nice covered picnic area which was our main reason for stopping. We were just passing through town and wanted to eat outside with the dog. Found the park near where we were, so we pulled in. Looked nice at first, then we got out and looked around. It appeared there may have been an event the previous day and the cleanup was never completed. I would go back for sure and hope it is in better condition. In the end, the place was great other than the trash. We picked up a lot of the stuff around us but...
