The Bar is a great place with a neighborhood bar feel to it. Converted from an old gas station in nto a bar it's a great place to hang out. Private parties can be held here. They got games like shuffleboard and Jenga and a couple arcade games. People can bring their dogs and enjoy a nice day on the patio. Dogs are not of course allowed inside. They have a great selection of beer and their food is amazing. I've had their chicken fried steak, their westwich sandwich which both are very good. They have these onion rings that are made with Boulevard beer in the batter and they are to die for. But what I really love is the pretzel sticks. They come with melted pepper jack cheese to dip in and they are soooo good. You can't go wrong with any of there sandwiches or burgers. My friend loves the buffalo chicken sandwich. Also they have a great happy hour. On weekdays it's from 3-6 and on weekends it is 12-6. You'll find those pretzel.sticks along with sliders, mozzarella sticks, cheese curds and a lot more. All the things on there are good. I've tried them all and have never been disappointed. The prices range from some things being $5 to other things being $6. Good drink specials compliment the happy hour food. A great place to watch sports, especially during March Madness. Catch a Royals game down there as well. It's a very enjoyable...
Read moreWe went there on Super Bowl Sunday, and it was our first time visiting. I had never heard of the place before, but we called last minute, and they had a couple of seats available inside. The space was huge and absolutely beautiful.
Despite how packed it was, the crowd was great, and we were seated in a very comfortable booth. Even with the Super Bowl rush, the service was outstanding—some of the best I’ve ever had. We weren’t too hungry, so we just ordered drinks and a plate of nachos. To our surprise, the nachos were massive—easily enough to feed seven people—and they were both delicious and affordable. Our drinks were served in aluminum cups, which we got to keep as a fun little souvenir.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience. If you’re looking for a great spot for dinner, drinks, and watching a game, this is the place to go. They also have a beautiful outdoor area that we didn’t get to enjoy because of the weather, but we’ll...
Read moreAtmosphere was sporty and energetic. A good place to watch a football game with friends. Fairly decently-sized outdoor patio with large garage doors to bring good weather inside on nice evenings. (Atmosphere 5/5) Service was good. Waitress was friendly. It was busy when we went and they were still attentive and fairly fast. (Service 5/5) Food was fine—not great. The quesadillas were incredibly salty/greasy. Their burger had good toppings and a mound of fries, but the patty itself seemed like one of those pre-made, perfectly-formed freezer patties. (Food 3/5) Their cocktails could have been better, my Paloma was decent but the other more creatively named ones that my friends got were not balanced (fake flavors, aggressively vodka-flavored, etc). It’s more of a sports bar so going with draft beer would have been a more standard, safer choice....
