Wing Daddy's Sauce House — Restaurant in Mission

I had gone once before with my parents and we all loved it, we even ordered dessert . So when my cousin came in from Houston I was excited to take her to a local mission restaurant that was amazing. Unfortunately I was disappointed, we were disappointed. Upon ordering food. My cousins daughter doesn’t like seasoning on her fries, so she asked that they not put seasoning. The waitress agreed but then said “ I’m sorry I know I said yes, but actually when they come out we put the seasoning on right away, so sorry” my cousin then stated , and suggested that prior to them putting the seasoning they take some out so they would be without. The waitress then stated if they were able to they would . We were taken aback by the the response but let it go. We get our food and my fries and wings we’re not fresh at all, some fries were hot, and some you could tell had been sitting there for a while and were almost chewy . Now we couldn’t tell the waitress because she never came back, so we just kind of sat there. My cousins daughter had her grilled cheese not even entirely melted, and she only ate the parts that were melted . My cousin started finding bits of chicken and fries on her hot sauce, so we finally got the waitress attention to which she said she could bring us something else , we asked for the manager. Which turned out to be a huge mistake he was so arrogant, and rude . We told him about the sauce, and he kept saying they basically do that in all wing places . So he’s telling me they use the sauce that is used to toss the wings to give people who order the side of sauce . Isn’t that against health code ? Why would you cross contaminate something that someone didn’t ask for wings or fries to be put in they wanted plain sauce . At that point we were grossed out . As someone who had previously worked somewhere where we tossed wings I could tell you that’s not how it should be done. Of course we didn’t argue just told the manager we didn’t believe that was the case ,which he would not even let us finish talking before he would say “yes, yes it is, yes it is” we became annoyed I told home to leave, and he just got my cousins plate and walked away without not even so much as an “I’m sorry”. I had to pay for the food that was tossed out, and had to pay for a drink on a kids meal that should have been included . We left feeling hungry since we didn’t eat , and upset at the service we received. Me and my family looks like we’re sticking to Wingbarn or Wingstop, at least when they mess up they fix it and are accountable for what’s wrong if and when it goes wrong, which is hardly ever . Save your money people this is not it .

Never been to a Wing Daddy's, decided to try it tonight, and will never go back. The service issue wasn't respective to our server so to speak, but by how the supposed "manager" handled the situation. Ordered sodas, fine. Ordered fried pickles for an appetizer, fine- not bad. There was a random piece of chicken thrown in the basket, though. Ordered kids grilled cheese, wasn't fully grilled or melted and daughter ate half and didn't want to finish. Ordered wings n fries, the fries were cold and stale. Ordered the Buffalo chicken fries, sauce and ranch on the side. Fries were cold and stale. But the issue came down to the sauces. When I went to use the Buffalo sauce, noticed there were chunks of something in it. Didn't think anything at first, and wiped them aside. But the more I went to use it, couldn't get aside the fact that it was clumpy. Stirred it and kept getting chunks of stuff out of it. At that point I couldn't eat my food anymore. Checked the chunks in a napkin and it was bits of chicken crust, fry bits, and other "stuff". I was disgusted at that point. Told the server and asked that she bring the manager by because I didn't want it remade, was too off-putting. The supposed "manager" comes over, asks what's wrong. Explain to him and show him the issue. But before I finish, he starts with yea well we toss our chicken in a bowl with the sauce so that happens. I was shook. I noted to him that my food was not tossed in sauce, so apparently it's not clean or fresh. He again affirmed that it's just chicken breading and fries from the bowl that they toss the sauce in. I mentioned I've often asked for sauce on the side and never had this issue with food and other particles in it. He was not helpful, not apologetic. But instead defensive and argumentative. He said he could get me more but I told him I no longer had the appetite if this is how they handle their food and sauce. To which he argued that that's how all wing places do it, it happens every where even Buffalo wild wings. It's just the chicken crumbs and bits. And kept on. I just shook my head in disbelief. Well I'm sorry, but no. I have never had that happen before. At his response, I was done. I didn't want anything else and he just took my plate and walked away. I can only imagine what happens back in that kitchen. And how he handled the situation, so off-putting. Horrible customer service. I'll stick to a BWW or...

Terrible experience at wing daddy’s Mission on 5/4/24 evening hours. This was our families first time here and our last . I first ordered boneless wings for the kids because they were hungry upon entering the restaurant. I wanted to look at the menu first before I ordered . The waitress then brought the kids boneless wings and they were burnt and inedible. The waitress took back the wings and put a new order in . 25 - 30 minutes later , the wings were not ready and I could not order because the waitress had disappeared on us . I was confused because there were only two other families inside the restaurant, it was almost empty inside the restaurant. I asked for the manager and my tab. The manager apologized but still charged me the drinks, which I didn’t mind. At that the waitress took an extra 10 minutes to bring me my tab.
