As I sit here at my AirBnb home looking at the last bit of leftovers from this beautiful food truck, I realize some of the greatest places on Earth are under appreciated. So I found out about this place through the beautiful world of twitter because somebody made a "Places you must eat at in Houston thread". I pulled up at the food truck and I must admit I was unsure and timid, but the woman at the window was friendly and inviting. She gave me a menu and the pictures on it looked amazing BUT they don't do the food justice of how good they look and taste when you get your own personal plate. Ima tell you why we need to protect the owners of this food truck at all cost, they was treating me like my grandma do on Sunday after church and I tell her ain had nothing to eat all day. They gave me samples of their new recipes to taste and I dropped a tear because the taste was so immaculate. I ordered the "steak, lobster, and shrimp baked potato" with the steak cooked medium. The people working there are so efficient and hard working before they finished cooking my plate they actually walked out from the truck to my car to bring me a piece of the steak to make sure it was to my liking. And let me tell you, I think that cow was pampered at some sort of resort or something before it was cut up. Because it was tender like Jesus massaged it, and to whoever seasoned it you could put Gordon Ramsey out of business. Y'all cooking better than Aunt Jemima and Betty Crocker over there. My girl tried to reach on my plate and her finger almost became a casualty of war. That's how good this plate was. I give this 5 stars and a moon. That's how good I feel...
Read moreOMG!! I heard about these potatoes from my granddaughter. So yesterday I was at the auto store and I thought when I saw the truck let me try and see how these potatoes really are. I am here to tell you: 1) the service the family are so nice and kind and warm; and their daughter was just full of smiles. 2) it’s like being at a restaurant you have to wait for them to freshly cook your food. 3) when you look at your meal it makes your eyes pop open with anticipation. 4) the smell of the food makes you want to pull your vehicle over right then and start eating. but, 5) the taste makes your taste buds do a dance.! It was so good it was really unbelievably good. I looked at the menu and I can see myself eating everything on the menu I highly recommend OMG baked potatoes food truck. it is a wonderful experience from ordering a meeting the family, and especially the taste of meal. Read moreSo I strolled on down the red carpet and was greeted by a friendly young man providing excellent customer service. He briefly inquired on how I discovered OMG Baked Potatoes to which I replied, Google. He encouraged me to send a review so I’m about to drop a few lines to that kind young man and pay homage to the most serious baked potato I have ever tasted in my entire existence. My goal was to make it home after my transaction.. goods in hand and enjoy the whole dining experience.. but that aroma took hold of me and the next thing I knew I had one hand on the wheel in the other fork deep into a spud okay! They hit me with the broccoli smothered in buttery melted cheese adorned with blackened shrimp and it was like I was transported into an old Batman and Robin remake! My tastebuds went, “Pow, Pow, Punch, Kick!” Go ahead on, OMG Baked Potatoes!!! Cuz I never expected to taste tha truth in that moment. Y’all done made a believer outta me.. I can’t wait to share this experience with the...
