We stumbled upon Màs Cafe while in Moab, and it absolutely lived up to its fantastic reviews! This quaint little coffee shop is tucked away in a residential area next to a workout studio, making it a cozy spot to visit. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm atmosphere and the friendly staff. Aaron, in particular, made us feel right at home as we visited daily during our trip.
They take pride in their homemade syrups, and the Café de Olla was by far the most flavorful coffee I’ve had – the perfect mix of spices and sweetness! My daughter couldn’t get enough of the iced vanilla matcha and iced mango matcha, and my uncle enjoyed his daily iced strawberry matcha. The menu is thoughtfully curated, with a variety of delicious options for coffee and tea lovers alike.
We also tried a local pastry – the spinach feta Danish – which was perfectly savory, with light and flaky dough. The coffee shop carries a selection of local pastries, and this one was a definite standout.
Every person working there was incredibly friendly, and we genuinely enjoyed chatting with them each day. If you’re in Moab and love great coffee, tea, and a welcoming vibe, you won’t be disappointed by Màs Cafe!...
Read moreIn Moab for a few days and decided to try this coffee shop, which is off the beaten path. It’s a small shop on a quiet residential street. Inside, you’ll see a counter to order — and then realize that there’s no place to sit (except for a small bench, maybe while you wait for your order). We got a super friendly greeting and service from the barista. I felt a little bad — we were the only customers there, and they looked (and sounded) extremely bored.
There was a very small selection of pastries. I decided to try a croissant along with my London Fog. The pastry was okay, and the London Fog was good. Since there was no seating inside, we found a cute little park right next door and grabbed some seats under a tree that provided much-needed shade.
I love to see independent coffee shops. However, I don’t think this one has enough (with the exception of the outstanding service) to make me want to come...
Read moreWhat a gem! I am so sad we didn’t find this place until our last day in town. This was one of the best drink + pastry breakfasts we’ve ever had on our National Parks travels.
I had the chai, which was so spicy and phenomenal. The chai that dreams are made of.
My husband had a hazelnut oat latte and really enjoyed it too.
For pastries, we had the banana bread which was the PERFECT texture - not too oily, the perfect density, and a great banana flavor. We also had the cherry yogurt pastry. It had a wonderful texture, really nice tart cherry flavor, and a delicious flaky crust.
The staff were friendly, happy to answer questions, and the shop itself was a gem. Lots of local pottery, tee shirts, and foodie gifts that were perfectly curated for the setting. A nice touch was the plants that were potted in containers their ingredients come in.
We will absolutely be back the next time...
