Very simple stay, kind of scout camping style a bit. 😉 Rooms were big enough to open up 2 big suitcases. Soap, shampoo, conditioner available in the shower. Everything very clean and tidy. Small kitchen with microwave and fridge with freezer part, ground coffe available For Europeans -like us-: let all 3 coffee packages run through the coffee machine simultanously and you’ll come close to a european style coffee 😉😅 Haven’t tried hot tub. Laundry available! From 7o’clock onwards first people leaving: door slamming started from the parking lot. Otherwise peaceful night although close to main street with passing traffic. Didn’t hear much. For this price: great value for 1 night. Stayed from Tuesday Till Wednesday morning. Thank you and also for the good service at checking in and out!

Despite being called the Moab Red STONE Inn, everything is made of wood. Our room smelled like a cowboy's moustache and everything in it, except the lightbulbs, was made of wood Room was rather small and the water coming out of the shower felt as powerful as the mist coming out of a steam iron The kitchen 'closet' was handy Looked like someone wanted to get in our wooden bathroom in a hurry, as the wooden door had a nice punch dent in it The location is great, right in the heart of the Moab hipster district, but I think I'd spend a bit more money next time and stay somewhere a little less wooden

Located in the heart of canyon country, the Red Stone Inn is an excellent base camp or overnight after a day of hiking. The property is immaculate inside and out. The rooms have a fantastic cabin feel with wide plank pine paneling. It feels like you're going to camp, but with excellent amenities. Our room had an inset kitchenette with dorm size refrigerator, coffee pot, etc. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We didn't try it out, but there is a hot tub on the property. They also have a picnic area with a grill.

Do not book this hotel if you have dogs or if you plan to hike.

The hotel was fine when I arrived. The room was clean enough but small and the TV didn't work. The biggest draw was that it was cheaper than everywhere else so I had low expectations. However, one thing to note was when I entered the hallway where the rooms were, it smelled very strongly of urine.

Don't be attracted to the cheaper price. I wish I had listened to my gut and found somewhere else. Before booking, I called to confirm they were dog friendly, what the pet fee was, and if there was a weight limit. The woman on the phone was very short and hung up on me immediately after answering my questions. I will say the person who was behind the desk when I checked in was very friendly.

The biggest problem was noticed over a week after my trip. I noticed on my credit card statement an extra charge of $115. I called and they informed me the top sheets are supposedly ruined and cost over $50 each. They offered to ship the ruined sheets to me but I do not have confidence that they would ship me my sheets as it has been over a week and because they did not alert me to the charge. If I had not checked my credit card statement I would not know. The only ways I could see the sheets being "ruined" is by dog hair which washes out or by red dirt that is inevitable if you hike. If it's the first, why allow dogs if you don't know how to wash out pet hair and if it's the second, why have a hotel in the middle of Moab where almost every hike has red dirt.

So I cannot recommend this hotel. They reel you in with the cheaper price and then charge you after you leave so you end up not actually...

Bottom line: a great budget inn that gives you just what you need for a decent price. We stayed here for two days, 05/29 - 05/30 and had a pleasant experience. The person at the front desk was friendly. The room was on the small side but the two double beds were clean, comfortable and fit snuggly in the room. We had a small table, a vertical closet with a small storage space and a small TV on top. There was also a nightstand with a lamp between the two beds. No other furnishings were in the room. The TV was decent enough but a larger one would have been nice. There was a small kitchenette with a sink, microwave, coffee maker, a refrigerator and miscellaneous plates and silverware for use along with dish soap and paper towels. The bathroom was equally small with a small sink, smaller toilet and stand-up shower. The water pressure was low but enough to get the job done. The towels were clean and the provided toiletries were nice. There was also an ice maker available for use, a laundromat and a hot tub. Also, there were no minimum night stay requirements which sold it for me. Overall, this was a great deal and an even better find. Don't expect a top end inn or resort but do expect a good little room with just enough comfort to get you buy. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who is budget conscious or just looking for a homebase while exploring the wonders the area has to offer. I would...

This place was terrible from start to finish. They quoted us much less money than they charged us in te end which was one of the worst parts! The room smelled like cigarette smoke terribly! The room, with all the lights on, was not light enough to find which jacket was which hanging on the door. the coffee machine was broken. there were dead bugs on the floor. They allowed a camper van to set up in the parking lot righ outside our room, and let their kids play in the parking lot like it was a back yard. They were rolling around on scooters whenever we pulled in and nearly hit them on several occasions. They even lit a "campfire" in the handicapped space one night! The worst part was that they did nopt allow us an early check out despite a persoanal urgent issue that came up at home and charged us that night.. One of the worst parts was the hot tub was broken, we saw the guy trying ti fix it, and when we got home, we assumed he fixed it so we showered, grabbed our bathing suits and jackets, walked outside and dunked in... only to get a tub of cold tepid water and NO SIGN up that...
