This is a nice hotel right in the middle of Moab. It is within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We stayed here for a week while visiting the area.||We arrived at check-in time and greeted by a very friendly receptionist name Michele. Within a few minutes, we were on our way to our room.||The room was fine and larger than most hotel rooms. The bed was very comfortable and there was ample room to stretch out and plenty of space for our luggage.||Breakfast is included here. My only slight complaint was that the hot items (scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash browns) were the same each day. However, the food was good, and we avoided the expense of eating out downtown for breakfast. ||The breakfast area was tended to by a friendly man named Polo. He kept everything clean and was very courteous and kind to the guests.||There is a very nice pool here which is open late. The weather was very hot, and we usually cooled off in the pool after a day in one of the nearby parks. There is free parking and plenty of spots.||Two incidents occurred during our stay which deserve mention because they were handled so well. The first was on our first night. After unpacking, my wife discovered ants in the bathroom tub as well as in the sink.||We reported this to Michele at the front desk. The maintenance person had left for the night. Michele said she would find insect spray and that we could get that from her on our way back from dinner. ||Michele gave us the spray and said she would advise maintenance and housekeeping of the issue. I poured the spay down the drain in the tub and in the sink. The following day, the room was cleaned from head to toe while we were visiting Arches National Park. Not one ant was spotted in the room for the rest of our stay.||The second incident occurred on the last night of our stay. Moab was hit hard by a thunderstorm that dropped a few inches of rain in only 20 minutes. This caused flash flooding and the stream close to the hotel went over its banks causing the streets to flood.||The flood waters hit the hotel parking lot and water was in the walkways of the hotel. I went outside and encountered Kim who is the hotel general manager. Armed with a large broom, she was sweeping the water away.||A guest two doors down from us reported water in her room. Since it was only a matter of time before the same thing happened to our room, I requested Kim to put is in room on the second floor. The request was handled very quickly and my wife I relocated to a different room where we would be safe from any flood waters.||Overall, an outstanding stay and the rate was reasonable considering the summer high season. The issues were encountered were extremely well handled and our thanks once again to Michele and Kim for their assistance. We hope to see you again on a future trip...
Read moreMy wife and I booked a 2 night stay here to celebrate her birthday and hike at the Arches. We were not able to make it to the hotel the first night due to emergency furnace maintenance in our house so we tried checking in on the second night when we were told since we were a no show the first night, we had forfeited our second night and the room had been sold. We travel fairly frequently, as some of our income is from writing reviews, and there have been cases where we weren't able to check in on the first night. In those cases, the hotel contacted us and/or still had our room available for the second night, so this was new to us. Still up to this point, even though I was annoyed, I was trying to understand their reasoning until the hotel also refused to refund us the money for our second night. We had paid for the second night and were there to check in, but we were denied both our room and our money for the second night. It was 10pm at night and we were 6 hours away from our home in the Longmont area, with no other guidance from the receptionist other than her informing us that the hotel was completely booked and that sometimes "we need to learn things the hard way." Both of us refrained from saying anything rude and started our drive back home, which turned out to be pretty treacherous. I pride myself in never writing purely negative reviews, but this was easily the worst hotel experience we've had so far. We will most likely avoid them in the future.
Edit: we did end up getting our money back through our credit card company. I'm disappointed in the unwillingness to help, but grateful to at least have...

I can not tell you how happy I am with the staff at this Inn. I (60 years old male with a bad back) was traveling with my 87 year old father who is in bad health. My father moved to the Salt Lake City area 8 months ago, and has never been to Arches National Park, so I decided to bring him.
At the Inn, at 10:00 p.m., Dad had a medical (not life-threatening) problem. They helped me get medical help for him, with no lights or sirens, from the county emergency dispatch. After 1 hour of help, the First Responders helped me get my father back into bed.
At 4:00 a.m., Dad had the same problem again. The overnight front desk staff helped me again. After 1 hour of help from First Responders, they helped me load my father back into our van to drive back to SLC.
Here's where the Inn 'staff really stepped up. While loading my father into the van, the front desk staff brought me two large bags packed with our breakfast for our trip home. They also explained how Arches' works. I had an 11:00 a.m. entry time slot. They told me where to go for an excellent sunrise experience that would allow my father to remain in the van. I also did not need an entry time since we'd be in the park before 7:00 a.m..
Dad ended up having the experience he wanted and saw things he had never seen before. All because the staff went above and beyond to help both me and my father.
Michele Garcia and Angela Hires, THANK YOU so much for all you did for me...
