Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Mobile

10/18/2024 Update. Well all I can really say is that I'm really disappointed and very unhappy with our food and service tonight. My husband and I ordered dinner to go. I got grilled fish and rice and specifically told the woman on the phone that I can't have anything spicy. To have them make my fish bland or with just some lemon on it. Also instead of broccoli , I chose mashed potatoes as my side. She said that was fine and then took my husband's order. He wanted a Cuban with jalapenos added to it. A pretty simple order and not hard to mess up . Or so I thought. Well I go in about 15 mins later and the woman who greeted me was very friendly and as nice as can be. I had to ask for lemons because even though it says the meal comes with lemons, it did not have any in the bag. So I get my lemons and I leave a tip and head to my vehicle. As soon as I get in and open the bag to begin eating the smell of hot pepper hits my nose and I already have a feeling I'm not gonna be happy. But give my husband his food and I begin to eat my mashed potatoes as he drives away. The first bite was good, but then the next was nothing but liquid butter. I tried stirring the potatoes, but still there's so much butter on them that the container is yellow and they're just swimming in a container of butter. Ew! Then I move on and open my fish and the smell of hot pepper actually chokes me and made me cough. Even after squeezing all of the lemons I have on it and trying so hard to enjoy it. I just can't. It's like they heard my request and did the absolute opposite . So unfortunately my $17 meal is essentially trash and I'm still hungry and have to find somewhere else to order dinner from. As for my husband's sandwich. He asked for jalapenos to be added to it and he was allowed 3 slices. Wow, how generous of u. So, I'm not sure if the woman who took our order had it written down incorrectly on the ticket or if the cook just didn't read the ticket or if he misr-ead it or if he just didn't care and did exactly what I didn't want. I don't know who went wrong or where, but I do know this place is a wasste of money. The food is way overpriced and I know I definitely won't be going back.

Well to start, they have an app and a website that says u can order online, but in reality, u can't. U must call in or go to the restaurant to place ur order. I had a Philly cheese steak add mushrooms and their fries for lunch and I have to say I was actually a little disappointed, unfortunately. The sandwich was greasy and I couldn't tell if there was any mushrooms on it. I also only got a handful of fries. Now I have to say their fries were actually really good, but for the price I paid for lunch ( $33 for 2 sandwiches and fries ) I expected more. It wasn't horrible, but it definitely wasn't great either. I may try them again in the future, but it won't be...

Amazing!! This is the first time I've been to Beef O' Bradys and I will definitely be coming back. I've been trying to come for a few months but for one reason another couldn't make it. At one time their hours were changed to be closed Mondays so check to be sure they are open because Google hours weren't updated and we drove there only to find them closed 🙃.

Anyway, the food was amazing!!! My husband and I try cheesesticks/mozzarella everywhere we go and these were easily among the top 5. I had fried shrimp with zucchini and fries. I loved the zucchini, most restaurants just grill them but they put a season on it that was delicious. I also got a side of bang bang sauce, yummy! My husband had the armadillo Texas burger. They won't cook anything less than med although he normally gets med rare but he still enjoyed it. Both were served quickly (less than 15 minutes..maybe even 10!), hot and well seasoned.

They don't serve liquor only beer and wine. We normally get mixed drinks but just got beer. The owner came over and joked about it saying we don't need all that strong stuff anyway lol. I'm not sure if for personal, moral or social reasons but it was a nice change in pace for a company to not be so money hungry that they alter values for what is considered commonplace...

My wife and I have supported the owners of this location from the beginning, even through the pandemic when staffing was a major issue. They used to work in the restaurant all the time and were genuinely nice people. Things change and so do people. The last dozen or so visits have been awful. Today was the last straw and we will not be back.

If you aren't one of the regular barflies, don't expect to get any service because the staff are too busy talking to them and ignore the rest of the restaurant. The staff and the owner seem to forget that just because the walls that separate the sitting areas are high (too high), we can still hear them when they complain about having to deal with customers.

The food is pretty good, if you can get the staff to wait on you and bring it out. I wanted to try a new burger and beer they had on the menu but today was the last straw. After 30 minutes of being ignored while the staff walked past us, we walked out and will not be back. Perhaps they should just turn this location into a bar and be done with it. Probably be a lot easier to manage then since they don't seem to care about actually...
