We ate here this afternoon. My parents ordered "Minestrone soup" which (according to our server) it has some veggies and noodles...it doesn't have noodles and it has carrots and some unrecognizable veggies. My dad ordered the "philly cheese steak" and he is not fond of it. He said it was bland and dry. Also, the bread was a bit hard. My Mom ordered roasted turkey sandwich. She said it wasn't roasted. It tasted like it was just boiled. Also, my mom find the meat tough... I ordered Spicy Poblano Omelette and mocha pancakes. I ordered the omelette because I like avocado and spiciness in my food. Well, in the picture (I should have took the picture before I ate though), the expectation vs what I got...When I got my order, it was flooded with cheese on top, where you couldn't see your omelette (no kidding, I really should took a picture). When I asked her (our server) where's my avocado, the server told me that they are out of stock of avocado therefore I dont see it on my omelette (yeah that's why I am wondering...) So, we let it slide since we all haven't ate anything since morning...then I realized that my omelette is mostly eggs and cheese, what I mean it has few veggies and meat (you can see it on my picture) its like I ordered scrambled egg, crepe style...well, I let it slide again since I ordered my mocha pancake (so hyped for this) Well....didn't came (its not in our bill as well). I just think she might have get confused since my parents were indecisive while ordering...*sigh. I think the good thing was she deducted $1.78 (I think) in our bill and probably if I reminded her about my pancake she could just simply add it but based on the food we got...I'll just go to a different iHop for it. Also,I just hope she said that their are out of avocado, so i could have choose another in their menu... Lastly, we ordered their promo $5 burger from 11am to 2pm (not sure about the time) to-go. We got the Bacon Cheeseburger. I am not recommending it because no tomato, the onions is just a dat bit, one lettuce leaf that its not fresh. When ate, it is so dry and the burger bun my mom had was hard and heating it up made it worst...I guess thats what you get for $5 promo...not going back again in...
Read moreI keep going here, thinking that it will get better, but my experience today made me sure that I will not be back. I get that it’s a pandemic and we must socially distance ourselves, but the MANAGER put our table of 7 at a booth. A booth! We could barely move. When we expressed our irritation, they did end up moving us to another table. Then I sat and watched as that same manager made two older women get up from their table while she moved their table over more so that they were distanced more from the table beside them. Totally unprofessional. That’s something that should have been done BEFORE you allow people to sit down at the table. Also, our waitress wasn’t very attentive. However, with it being the Sunday afternoon rush, I can excuse that. But when she finally came to get our card for paying the check, she took the card and then never came back. Literally everyone around us had come and gone and we were the only table left even sitting in that half of the building. But she disappeared and was nowhere to be found. I had to find a worker and ask her where my card was at. The waitress had just left the card sitting on the counter! THEN, as we were finally getting up to leave, the busboy was standing there looking irritated as if we were putting him out by being there too long! Like it was our fault! And don’t even get me started on my over cooked burger that was supposed to be cooked medium. Nah, we won’t be...
Read moreVery good service. Had the blueberry and lemon crepes, the MOST DELICIOUS turkey breakfast sausage (which is a treat for me as I don't eat red meat!) Eggs, hash browns. This is WAY MORE CARBS than I normally eat, but 99% of the time, I stick to a pretty strict diet. But, we were celebrating a small victory and decided to treat ourselves. As a disabled vet, I asked if they had a veteran's discount and they do! Also, the booth was relatively comfortable for me (As someone c with 2 spinal surgeries and hardware, I rarely find chairs or booths in which I can sit comfortably, but, this one was 💗.) I always look for places that aren't “institutionally” bright (which so many restaurants seem to strive for, ) and, this was comfortably lit. I didn't have to unscrew the light bulb above the table and/or wear my sunglasses! This goes a long way toward making me comfortable and relaxed when eating out and is something I think most restaurants should pay more attention to! (Again, as someone with disabilities, I will look for more than good food and reasonable prices; I also want medium to low lighting and comfortable seating and will turn around and walk out if a place “looks” uncomfortable to me.) The food was great, service was fast, prices we were reasonable. Recommend!!! (Gabriel had beef tips and onions...
