This isn't going to be a review of the actual business so much as it is an employee review just to change things up a bit. So a bit of back story here, I needed to go to the Urgent Care but I was on foot yesterday for a change. Well when I was leaving Main street Urgent care and trying to get a ride home, my phone died. So at that point I thought well maybe I'll just walk over near Waffle House, surely someone would allow me to put even just a few percent charge on my phone to call a ride, innocent enough I thought. So off walking in the general direction I go and the first place of business I came to was Chatime. It looked very clear newly opened maybe or hasn't been there long, but surely someone would be happy to help me right? Well I go in and there's no one behind the counter that I can see, I wait for at least maybe 3-5 mins watching the ad screens telling me about Cachava plants and somehow they become the pearls in the drinks.....idk, and neither did the guy that finally came out from the back headed towards the front of the business but abruptly turned around and headed to see if I wanted anything, I assumed. I was still watching the screen when he appeared in front of me and I inquired about those plants and how could that become a part of the drink they referred to as "pearls", he shrugged his shoulders with a slightly annoyed motion and asked me if he could get me anything at which I replied that I simply needed to get some battery charge on my phone, ONLY enough to allow me to make a call so I could get home. He immediately stressed the point that he couldn't help me and that I needed to try somewhere else. Well, ummm okay, NOT a problem, thanks for ALL of YOUR help sir!!!!! PLEASE bear in mind it I was a single female, alone and in need of help as well as traveling on foot. Any of those factors would cause me to inquire if I could help another person I came into contact with as to how I could help them in some way. I KNOW every person is different and it's not quite the ideal world that we once lived in and things are getting REALLY outta whack in the world today, BUT BUT BUT....all that aside, don't we still live amoungst one another and want the best for others around us too? If we can help in ANY small way, then doesn't it stand to reason that we SHOULD?!? The employee was very standoffish, disgruntled by my presence obviously may have interrupted his break maybe, who knows. But it would've been no sweat off his ass to have allowed me to use their business phone to call my ride. I was super nice and polite to him also. It just really hurt my feelings to think that situation could've been so much better for everyone involved. I did end up going down a lil further to the Firehouse Subs location in the same shopping center and they were incredibly helpful(more about this in my Firehouse Subs review).
Please check out how Firehouse Subs went above and beyond to help me with reaching out to my ride in the complete employee review in my profile!! We definitely need more employees like the ladies and gentlemen that helped me yesterday!! Thank you again for everything you guys & gals did to help me!! It might be ONLY a small little thing to help me like they did but it also goes to show in real-time how we REALLY don't KNOW what others around us are going through and maybe we should be a little nicer and more willing to help others instead of ALWAYS thinking about ourselves. Maybe just maybe, but that's my...
Read moreIf you’re a boba tea enthusiast, you probably want to check out Cha Time! From the moment I walk in, I'm greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that make me feel right at home. The staff is always friendly and eager to help me navigate their extensive menu, ensuring I find the ideal drink to suit my taste.
They offer an impressive variety of options - whether I'm in the mood for a classic milk tea, a fruity concoction, or something more adventurous. Every drink hits differently for me, but I've found a few that are right up my alley.
The atmosphere at Cha Time is pretty cool too - no pun intended. It's a quaint but open space with a few different seating areas where you can unwind with family and friends over conversation or games. Between the modern decor and music, there's a pretty comfortable atmosphere. Check it out...
Read moreI am a HUGE fan of Boba Teas. This place has the experience down pack. When I first entered, I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff. I wear anime hoodies often, and the lady automatically knew the Naruto hoodie i was wearing. So that was a great customer to service conversation. She showed me the menu and I already knew what I needed to try. The brown sugar latte boba. It was FANTASTIC! She helped me register and sign up for reward points as well on next visits. I left and brought friends back after work and then tried the Hawaiian Fruit tea and it was SO flavorful and delicious. Definitely give this place a try, it will not disappoint. Also, especially for the fruit teas, I would suggest the Aloe Vera topping as an add...
