I personally want to thank Maddie, Tamia, Zach, Bree, and Joseph for helping me like you did!! You don't know how much y'all helped me!! Thanks again!! Y'all deserve a raise for sure!!
So this is a continuance from the Chatime review for yesterday, July 15th. It's more of an employee shout out or review of sorts. But yesterday, I found myself coming from the MainStreet Urgent Care on foot when my phone died. I had a ride waiting in the wings to come and pick me up but with a dead phone I was unable to let them know my location. So walked towards the Waffle House, in hopes of finding someone that wouldn't mind helping me out by plugging my phone up to their charger, so I could call my ride, Because at this point it was nearing darkness, I was on foot, alone, and female .... So not the best of situations right?! So after getting the angry and clearly aggravated No, from Chatime I continued down the strip mall to Firehouse Subs. They clearly had maybe 5 customers in their lobby all at different stages of their ordering phases, but all in all, I was able to walk-up to their counter and I AGAIN inquired to their ability to just simply allow me to charge my phone enough to allow me to make a call to alert my ride of my new location so I could be picked up. Well, compared to how the previous employee handled my request it was like night and day! Immediately, ALL of the employees that were working behind the counter went to work trying to come up with a solution to my ordeal. One young woman spoke up and said she had a C type charger cord, another one chimed in that she had a box so they both went about getting those and another young lady offered me the option to use HER PERSONAL PHONE to make my call! I was beside myself at this point in disbelief, from the stark contrast of the previous man at the Chatime to these amazing young people that now stood before me!! They went above and beyond what I asked of them to help me in my time of need!! After I made my call and my ride was then in route, I thanked them for their assistance again and went to wait outside. It then dawned on me that I needed to take this opportunity to acknowledge these awesome young people for their part in my otherwise SUPER crummy day! They didn't know that I'd just come from Urgent Care because I had a severe toothache, they didn't know I was on foot and without a vehicle, they didn't know about anything that I'm currently dealing with that is ohhh SOOOO heavy at times that it feels the sheer weight of it may crush me beneath it...... they ONLY knew I needed help with my PHONE being dead!! It's with tears in my eyes now, that I write this, but the smallest gestures can mean so so SOOOO very much to people that we aren't even aware of. Please use an ounce of grace when we deal with others around us each and every day. Please? Because we REALLY don't know what position of life one another are in from one...
Read moreI placed an order online and received the wrong sandwich. One of ingredients was mayo and I’m allergic to mayo. When I returned the uneaten sandwich to the employee, he was very rude/disrespectful about my complaint. I wasn’t rude to him. I just told him my order was wrong and he told me it was because my receipt didn’t show my customizations. So he made me the sandwich without the customizations. His second lie was that there was a “glitch in the app.” I’ve order from this location multiple times and I’ve never had a “glitch” from the app. And I only order from the app. During our conversation, the phone rings and he decided to take another order while I’m in line. That was so disrespectful. I had to wait until he finished before he fixed my order. He was unapologetic about the phone call and about my sandwich being wrong. He took no responsibility and he was very careless. I believe he was the manager. But I really hope he wasn’t. Because that’s so unprofessional. He didn’t even attempt to ask another employee to answer the phone or take my order. I used to love firehouse sub and go all the time. But ever since, I’ve started going to this location, I hate it here. People never greet you when you come in and everyone is always so rude. They don’t care about their customers and it shows. I will not be coming back to firehouse sub ever again. This experience has ruined it for me. Also, my replacement sandwich was wrong! But at least there wasn’t any mayo. Instead they didn’t put any condiments on the sandwich… But that’s okay :) . Because what goes around comes around. Karma is a trick. I know I wasn’t rude or disrespectful to them. So, if this was a test from God, I passed. I just hate that I’m still unsatisfied with my meal and have to go to a different restaurant to be satisfied. I should have went with my first mind and went to Panda Express. But that’s what I get for choosing close proximity...
Read moreI went to this location on Grelot and Hillcrest today. There were 2 people sitting waiting in their orders and no one in line. I walked up to the register ready to place an order. There was a girl behind the register I was sure would help me. NOPE!!! She ignored me. There were at least 9 employees behind the counter working. NOT one of them spoke or said a word to me. Not even we will be right with you mam. The girl behind the register walked in front of me and headed out the door. Still no one even looked at me. I walked to the end of the counter where a manager was standing and told her that I was so disappointed with the lack of service and walked out. I will NEVER go back...
