The park is good, my kids love it and it helps them burn energy. I wish the maintenance would stay on top of their stuff. If something breaks, it takes forever for repairs to be done. Also cleanliness is an issue. There's a bunch of people that come here, everyday. Everything gets touched millions of times a day by Different people doing different things.. the swings are disgusting. The bathrooms look just as nasty as when i left them last time butwhen you gotta go, you gottago. . Pressure wash the swings or get new ones. We stick our children, babies in these. And get a few more trash cans and clean the bathrooms 2 a month. That's more than they get now I bet. The walking trails through the wooded area are nice, also the side walk that goes around the whole area,, that's also dnice. Me and my kids love walking those and spending time outside. It's a great park, I just wish cleanliness was focused on...

My sister in law reserved a pavilion for my niece's birthday. Upon arrival to the park, there were people already set up in the pavilion. The listed schedule had not been updated since March and these people did not want to leave. It was a whole confrontation. After they finally left another family decided that since we hadn't set up the third table yet, they were just going to set up their party and would not leave. They were there literally the entire party and acted like they were entitled to the space; making snide comments when my brother mentioned not having anywhere to put the food. This is absolutely ridiculous. There should be a better system, people should do their jobs, and maybe y'all should have some kind of supervision at the park for these entitled folks who think courtesy doesn't apply to them. The park is wonderful, but this whole system is...

I used to love Cottage Hill Park, but I just got around to taking my kids to the redesigned playground. I do not like it. Newer is not always better. The new equipment may be the fanciest of all the fancy stuff, and yes it's kid-friendly, but it is not mom-friendly. The design makes it difficult to stay close to my little one when she's on the equipment. I pretty much would have to be right behind her. The design also makes it impossible to keep eyes on two kids at once. When we tried it, we had four adults and four kids and could barely keep eyes on them. The kids ran and climbed, but mostly didn't get into the new stuff, either. We thought the previous equipment was better. And it was in great shape compared to so many other parks in Mobile. I kind of wish they'd skipped a fancy skyscraper replica and invested some money in...

This has been one of our favorite places to go while we’re in Mobile. It’s got these trails as well as a large dog/small dog park 🐶 #dog #dogsoftiktok #outdoors #alabama #doodle

My kid lives in the park, and the splash pad was a big hit over the summer. The splash pad schedule seemed to be some what of a hit and miss, though. Hopefully, next summer, there will be a bit more consistency. The reason I docked a star is for the restroom. In all honesty, outhouses would be more sanitary and usable. The smell was awful. I wouldn't go near the toilet or allow my boys near it. We used the restroom to get them changed into their suits for the splash pad. The heat in there made everything feel sticky and humid, which increased the smell and filth feeling. Next time, I'll just get him changed in the parking lot if he has to change there. Overall, if you don't need the facilities, I 100% recommend the park and splash pad

This is the best park in Mobile for kids. This park offers so much. My understanding is that it is 80 acres total. Wide concrete walking/running path. You could roller blade, too. Also there are trails in the wooded areas and half of these trails have a disc golf course. There are multiple tennis courts available. I think a small fee is asked. Summer time, you have a splash pad for the kids. Soccer fields, baseball fields, and football field. Let's not forget the two dog park areas. One for small and the other for large. Please pick up after your pet's and if they are unsociallized, it would be best to take them when there are not many there.
