The coffee I received was the worst coffee I have ever tasted from Starbucks. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte almond milk decaf. I normally get this coffee. And the barista that made my coffee first handed me a cup without a sleeve. That coffee was really hot and when I asked for her to give me a sleeve she said that the sleeves donāt fit on tall hot cups, which I know is a straight lie. The Starbucks sleeves will fit on a tall to large size cup. They donāt fit on short cups that why they double cup the shorts. But what really bothered me was the slow fullness to get me a sleeve while I had the very hot coffee in my hand. Then I took my lid off because on the first sip I noticed there was no pumpkin seasoning. So I tried to get the barista to come back to the car and she was to busy singing loudly to pay me any attention even thought I honked my horn multiple times. And I saw in the rear view mirror someone walking outside and it looked like they were telling her over the mic to come back to the window but she was very slow-full in doing it. And when she opened the window she said Oh you needed me I was having a whole musical in here. I completely didnāt notice you. How rude you should be there to work and help the customer first not to sing and ignore the customer. So I told her about my drink and she put the pumpkin seasoning on top. But then she said she blended in the pumpkin topping in the drink. Now I have been getting this drink for yearssss and I know that the seasonings always goes on top. But to add she lied again because I didnāt taste any pumpkin seasoning. But my point is it should go on top. Also my drink was way to frotty for it to have been a latte. And one thing I have noticed about getting drinks from Starbucks is if the baristas donāt follow the recipes it throws the drinks off. Thats from steaming the milk to adding the right seasonings. After all, thatās what customers pay for is for our drinks to be made exactly the way it should be. Needless to say all of that took five minutes and thatās with no one else in line with me. Starbucks isnāt what it use to be anymore and I donāt see it coming back. I am done with the brand 7brew is now my new place. This drink was not worth the six dollars. And this is coming from a six year...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsually very awesome but today I got a salted caramel cold foam, cold brew and it was just off. This seems to be a drink that when it is made maybe there is a technique or a certain amount of time for the foam making, or something that makes it great at times or absolutely awful at times. Unfortunately the last few times I have gotten the drink it has been awful. So it's a cold brew coffee and a cold foam (hence the name) and it is black coffee except for the salted caramel and foam(today mine was missing the caramel and the foam was not right) with ice. The foam sits on top and as you drink it, it kindly flows into the coffee. You get the taste of the salted caramel and coffee separate then together. A perfect blend of yummy. HOWEVER, if the foam is not "foamed"šš¤š correctly then it dissipates before it has had a chance to move into the coffee and before the coffee is gone so you are left with normal black coffee, which I am no fan of. But when it is done correctly the foam last the entire drink of coffee, it is thick and very white(tan foam is no good) and very delicious. Now what I said in the beginning of this review about a technique must be the difference because I have had this drink many times in its goodness and unfortunately lately more times in the yuck. This Starbucks is one of my favs and usually get it so on point but not today. Springhill and I-65 has been wrong more than not, so much so I do not go back there and wouldn't even take the free one waiting on me, Airport (by the mall) is usually on point but the last time (2 days ago) it was bad. So my overall review for THIS Starbucks is great, but this is really erking me with this drink. Hopefully Starbucks takes a gander at this review and gives the employees a foam making lesson. š other thank that Good job Starbucks on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy favorite Starbucks in Mobile! The staff are always very friendly, even in the most stressful and rushed hours, and they always get my order right. Also, they love seeing my dog and giving her puppuccinos, they are always smiling when they hand out the pup cups, so then I'm smiling, and the Floof (dog) is smiling, too. All the smiles. Anyway, the ONLY downside to this location is the parking lot, and it's not anything against them. It's stressful trying to get in and out, as traffic backs up on both the Grelot and Hillcrest side pouring in for the drive through. Also, due to the small parking lot and split backed-up drive through lines, trying to back out of a parking space and exit is difficult and time consuming. I imagine that not much can be done about this, other than maybe putting up signs or painting lines in the ground to establish what side should be the entry lane for drive through (maybe only on Hillcrest side, or vice versa, etc, and having a pull through lane to loop back around and handle overflow).other than that, when I see the place isn't backed up, I love going through there. My anxiety just gets rattled when they are busy, as I sit there and look at cars on both entryways not knowing who goes next, while cars on Hillcrest and Grelot are honking angrily at the not-moving cars in line for Starbucks (I think of Super Troopers in this moment as I'm being honked at: "I can't pull over and farther!" š¤¦āāļø). I wish we could award them a bigger lot space, because this one Starbucks is so awesome; I wish something could be done to help make entering and leaving more efficient and less stressful. But hey, with dealing with what they have, their team is awesome sauce with a side...
