The staff is incompetent! Walked in to pick up a GrubHub order and the lady said it wasn't ready yet. After waiting an additional 20 minutes I asked for an update regarding the order another lady acted as if it was my fault stating "well it's been ready" and giving attitude. Like I've been waiting here on Y'ALL. Then there was a woman with an earbud in literally playing PEEKABOO with another employee through the door that separates the lobby from kitchen! Then her and another employee kept referring to one another as "slime" even asking others, even customers, if they heard that and joking around stating it refers to the blood gang/group. Everyone could here the business phone ring and the employee got an attitude, went to the manager and said "do we HAVVVEE to answer the phone?" Then after being told yes she picked up the phone in an annoyed and agitated tone. While I was waiting on the order for GrubHub the app messaged me asking if I was still picking up the order because I had been waiting so long. It's not like they were busy. Absolutely a place of a nightmare. Please good Lord DO NOT support this location. Go ANYWHERE else!!! Attitude with customers, wasting time with customers waiting, inappropriate work conversations loud enough for customers to hear and unwanted Convo with customers. Playing a literal child's game with an employee while customers are waiting. Went. Paid for our buffet. Were handed plates for pizza and bowls for salad. Asked about clean plates and bowls for round 2. Were told that plates for pizza were on the bar but to reuse the bowl for our salad! Wow! That's health code 101. You cannot reuse a plate or a bowl at a buffet. You're not even supposed to use a plate or bowl if you haven't used it yet if you take it to your table! We asked for a refund immediately. Never again will we return to this location. Especially singe the manager not only seemed to be totally unaware of basic food handing procedures which are taught at the food handler permit class which is required to be renewed yearly here in Mobile county, but also because of his attitude when we asked for our refund and told him why. Read moreI entered the restaurant on my lunch break, which I do regularly and today was not the day!!! A young man was sitting in the lobby on his phone, red dead’s slanging everywhere!!! He proceeded to enter into the kitchen, still on his phone, didn’t wash his hands and started immediately making food; stopped in the middle of making the food to put his ear piece back in his ear and proceeded again!!! I was in disbelief!!! Came back out in the lobby, and when he needed to make more food, went back in the kitchen with his red hair slanging over the food and did not Wash his hands again!!! I appreciated the manager for her courtesy after I explained to her what I saw!! But this is unacceptable!!! The young ppl now don’t have a care for anything in the world!!! If you wouldn’t want it done to you, don’t do it people!! Because his hair is so long, he should have had on some type of head covering.
