I have passed Jefe Paletas many times and always wanted to stop by. When I went in the place was packed. It was obvious that this place is very popular. I didn’t know what to get. When it comes to desserts I normally choose chocolate flavors. One thing I noticed was that the majority of the flavors are fruit flavors. I’m not opposed to fruit flavors but I saw a cookies and cream (Oreo) ice cream which looked delicious. I decided to get the Oreo cup. I’m not sure the exact size I ordered but it was at least 2 or 3 scoops. It was less than $7. I took my order home and I can say that this ice cream was very tasty. It was very rich but not overwhelmingly sweet. I definitely want to try more flavors.

We finally had the opportunity to stop at this gem and we will most definitely be back VERY soon. Walking into the place it was spotless and smelled so fresh. The treats all looked delicious. I was feeling adventurous and ordered the Jefe Cup. It was a beautiful blend of spicy and sweet. I recognize it's not for everyone but it was delightful for me. The others I was with ordered Snow White's and they were in heaven. The customer service and quality were top notch.

We discovered this place a few years back when we first moved to Mobile and it was our home away from home being from New Mexico places like this are very common where i'm from but not in Mobile. I loved coming here and having a taste of home. The owners are amazing and I loved coming in. We moved away recently and will miss Jefe Paletas dearly!

On 8/28/21 which was a Saturday, my husband, two daughters, and myself visited Jefe Paletas. While we were there, we ordered 2 corn cups, a pistachio popsicle with chocolate drizzled over it, a strawberry popsicle with chocolate drizzle, chocolate crumbles, and fresh cut strawberries, a mixed berry yogurt popsicle, and their Jefe Mangonada made with mangos. Everything was amazing. I would have to say the corn cup was my favorite overall, but I would order every single thing all over again. I cannot wait to go back and try their Dorilocos, Tostilocos, and Agua Frescas. I recommend this place to any and everyone. If you have not been yet, I don't know what you are waiting for! I just wish they were open on Monday's so that I could go...

This was my first time visiting, and I will certainly be back! I ordered a fruity pebbles popsicle and a lime sorbet-nada with slices of mango. Everything was absolutely fantastic!! the popsicle was sweet, but not too sweet, and immediately brought back the flavors every Saturday morning of the 90s eating fruity pebbles and watching cartoons. The lime sorbet-nada blew my mind! I love savory sweet combinations, and this was more flavorful than I could have imagined. The place is clean, the service was quick, and the sweets are out of this world! Not to mention everything is made in house....
