It pains me greatly to change the stars in my review but it is mostly service related. First of all we joined the waiting list on the app so it would be faster, it said five minute wait which was ok, we got to the restaurant and lo and behold there was now a 25 min wait no matter when you joined the list. So we sighed and waited because our daughter wanted to celebrate her straight A report card there. We finally get called up and the host lady leaves her post to sit people leaving another lady and a bus boy seating the rest and they started skipping spots so we had to tell them we where called up. We got seated 10 minutes later and our waitress comes and doesn't even tell us her name, just ask what we want, so we order drinks and she starts walking away, my husband calls her attention and tells her we have an appetizer to order while we decide on dinner, she says ok and after we tell her what we want she says uhhu and walks away. She beings our drinks andno coasters or straws, we have to ask her, quickly before she leaves out hearing range and when she comes back with those we tell her we are ready to order, she writes it down and again answers uhhu and walks away. By this point my kid is upset and my husband is annoyed, she comes back with bread and walks away not even saying anything, she comes back with our appetizer and my husband asks for more bread for his salad that is coming. She brings our salads and walks away, she comes back with our food and still no more bread, my daughter ordered a burger and wanted ketchup, we had to wait almost 10minutes to ask a passing waitress for some and that lady noticed our lack of drinks and sent our waiter with more. Now food wasn't bad, just not up to the standard of last time, Cesar salad didn't taste like Cesar, fries had way to much salt, even for my salt loving child, rice pilaf had no seasoning and was overcooked, the beef in the beef chili in our appetizer wasn't even wet from chili sauce, how that is possible we do not know. The meat for my husbands plate and my daughters burger was cooked to timed greatness, my chicken was awesome. The salads where just lacking. We doubt we will come back, sadly this was a very bad experience.
A year ago... First time the hubby and I took our daughter here since it reopened, we were apprehensive because of the 1 star reviews we had seen before heading out but we decided to give it a chance. To out delighted surprise it was an awesome experience. From entrance to finish we did a little over an hour. Service was quick and attentive. Ebony P., our waitress timed our plating just right, so we got our next course just as the last was scrapped away, the table was continuously cleared of plates and napkins, and our drinks were replenished just as the last glass was one slurp from being empty. Food was delicious, savoury, and oh so filing, thankfully served in a hot plate. Our daughter begged her Daddy to make this our go to spot. Definitely will be...

Read moreWe have ate at Longhorn at least once a week, sometimes more, for several years, 10 +. Longhorn has been the ONLY place that my husband would eat steak from for years. When the restaurant caught fire years back, we didn't eat steak out until they reopened. He WAS a Longhorn Steak house guy. Since Covid we usually order take out, I always tip even with take out. Yesterday afternoon, we decided to go in and have a few drinks at the bar and then order our food to go. My mother in law is in the hospital so we were taking the food there to eat with her. We asked the hostess if that was alright, she stated that it was and walked us to the bar. The bar tender did not acknowledge us for several minutes, there was only one other guest at the bar. When he did, he wasn't friendly at all. He didn't look at us, greet us, or even pretend to smile. He tossed menus and silverware on the bar and said, "what do you want to drink?". We placed our drink order and after about 10 minutes, he brings them to us. He was standing at the end of the bar talking to the servers. He even had to shout across the bar to ask again what I ordered. When he brought the drinks over, he again, acted really angry, like he just didn't want to be there and we were wrong for coming in. He asks what we want to order, again with a really ugly attitude. This is where it gets really crazy. My husband says, " we are going to have a couple drinks and then order our food to go. My moms down at Providence (the Hospital) so we want to take her a good meal." The bar tender very loudly tells us that HE doesn't do to go orders. My husband asks him why that would be a problem, we plan to have a few drinks and take our food to go. We didn't walk to the bar and ask to place an order without having any drinks. Well, the bar tender walks away saying he will go ask. The only other customer at the bar looks at us and says that the bar tender has been really rude to him also. He comes back and again very rudely and loudly tells us, she will do it but it will be 45 minutes. I am not sure who "she" was. My husband says, that will be fine as we were planning to have a few drinks. It's not fast food, we expected to wait. The bar tender was still being extremely rude and very curt. My husband just looked at him and tells him that we don't want anything, not even the drinks, that we hadn't touch yet. We left without having a drink or getting any food. We tried to call and speak with a manager and was told there wasn't...
