Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Modesto

My mom happens to be in a residential rehab due to an injury. This one is around the corner basically. I told my mom I was going to go get some dinner there and come back so we could have dinner together. I’ve had food from other habit burgers from Tulare to Fresno and it was always good and hot. So I thought this one would be the same. Not only did it take some time to get my food but when I got it the food was cold. I ordered the Ahi Tuna sandwich and fried green beans. The lady I’m assuming was the Manager, I saw she was about business but to talk about the business with regards to workers is not cool. That business is to be left in the back way from public ears. . Felt like I was in Walmart. when she handed me my food it was a swipe and turn. No thank you or anything just her back. Let me add my green beans had been sitting on top of the counter with other fries waiting for orders to be filled. But my sandwich had been sitting there next to the tray also. She touched my green beans (with a napkin to be fair) but I’m sure she could tell they were cold. Totally disappointed especially since I was happy to find one close to my mom so we could have dinner together and i expected to go...

The kid taking the orders was the absolute sweetest! He was attentive and quick. The burgers were 5 stars themselves and very very good! We sat outside, nothing was covered by shade. I asked some gentleman that were sitting outside (not under shade) if I could move their umbrella and they said no problem. So I moved it so that we would be comfortable. The manager, Lisa, came out and was EXTREMELY rude, and grabbed the umbrella angrily and spoke to either all of us, or no one in general with an extremely rude and overly angry voice that we weren't allowed to move it and put it back. Which, if we were told politely it wouldn't have been any issue. For the remainder of us eating, anytime I needed to go in for a refill she would watch me very carefully. I use a cane and the floors near the soda machine were insanely slippery. To the point my cane couldn't even grip the floor which made it extremely dangerous when my cane slips from under me. Thankfully I was able to catch myself but it wasn't fixed in the duration of my visit. Would love to come back as long as Lisa isn't there! She definitely made no one feel welcome or...

I rate them WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in Modesto by far and I have seen been to a lot of restaurants in the area and around the world. Their burgers are okay, not worth the mistreatment the employees give to paying customers. I ordered twice for pick up. Both times I was told to wait outside in the heat, eventhough the dine in area is open and there is no issue of people being inside, they do it just for the power trip to bully customers around. Even if we ignore that issue, both times I waited 15 minutes outside and when I gave up and went inside to inquire about my food, there is my food sitting on the counter getting cold (BOTH TIMES!!). One time you can ignore and give them benefit of doubt. But two times, it shows that they don't care, despite having all the technologies to inform us of the order being ready.
