Last visit here 4 or 5 years ago , looked same, needs updating .Everything was not good except our waitress. Friday night, ordered ice tea with lemon. Looked down at straw, the paper end worn off and looked dirty like put on a few tables before and saved, the lemon was soft and fell apart when squeezed. We ordered all you can eat fish ( catfish or cod, fried or broiled. I love Cod, ordered broiled with baked potato, salad with " Greek" dressing. The salad dressing was a dark brown liquid type, had took my breath away with too much vinegar, tasted like italian dressing. The potatoe seemed old, skin turns white of potato brown and dry. The Cod looked good, 3 large pieces, with orange seasoned top. First bite, tasted like a weak cod taste very watered down, like broiled frozen or something. I tried 2 more bites to try and lost my appetite. I tasted my husband's fried catfish filets, crust tasted soft, same watered taste of fish. I ate my salad and most of My potato. I asked waitress to ask owner to pay half since I did not like any of their fish. They did only charge me 5.99 plus tea cost, which was nice, but unfortunately I won't be back. Last couple of times we went to this restaurant, the food and service were great but today was not even close considering that my daughter's and son's orders were made incorrectly and when the food was brought back to us, a mere 5 minutes later, the order looked corrected but was not. The incorrect cheese on my daughter's order was scraped of the patty, then they flipped it put the right cheese on and his order the incorrect cheese was left on the Burger patty flipped over then new cheese put on the bacon then drenched in sauce to try and cover up the mistake! Also found a hair on my daughter's plate as well after it was brought back to us. Never have we ever dealt with this kind of laziness and negligence from this restaurant which is usually very good. We talked to the manager which seemed helpful until we decided we wanted to cancel the order and leave because by that time we had lost our appetites and the server seemed to not know what she was doing when giving us our food the first time. Ordered PB&J for the kids and they brought bread and condiments to the table for us to make it ourselves. When we were ready to check out the cashier asked if we wanted change. We said yes, paid the bill, and left. As we got to our car our waitress came running out yelling we hadn't paid. We showed her the receipt we'd gotten and she asked us to come back inside. When we went inside the cashier was upset and kept telling us they almost called the police on us for theft. Turns out he doesn't speak English well so when we said we wanted change he thought we meant we just wanted to break the $20 bill into smalller denominations and he didn't keep any money in payment for the meal.
