Los Agaves is easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Quad Cities area. The location I usually frequent is on Utica Ridge Road, not but a little under a 10 minute drive from my home in Bettendorf. On this particular Wednesday, I decided I needed some good Mexican food in my life, but also wanted to get out to another part of the Quad Cities. Thus, after work on this Wednesday evening, I decided to head to Avenue of the Cities in Moline to try this location. Visually, there's not much really that different from this location and the other two in the Quad Cities area. Both have the same stucco/adobe look throughout the interior of the restaurant. The walls are different earthy tones throughout, and the overhead is uncovered, leaving the entire plenum and all HVAC ductwork, structural supports, conduit, and other functional building features visible to anyone glancing upward. There's a sharp-looking wood bar at one end of the restaurant, and tables and booths throughout. It's familiar, clean, and I like it. I wasn't feeling particularly adventurous tonight and ended up getting my favorite thing on the menu - The Combination Plate #1 with rice. It was out to me after about 15 minutes and was exactly as expected. The enchiladas were seasoned well, the rice was fluffy and full of flavor, and the taco had that perfect combination of crunchiness and greasiness from the shell and overabundance of white cheese. I enjoyed this particular meal as much as I've enjoyed it many times at the Utica Ridge Road location. I don't know that I'll be back here anytime soon, as I'll probably just go the Utica location the next time the urge strikes. It's nice to get out of my normal part of town once in a while though, and it's honestly even nicer to know this location is pretty much the same as the one close to home. Thanks again, Los Agaves!

Short version. Ordered went to pick up, picked up, brought food back home. Noticed we were missing a few items. I called talked to someone told her that we were missing these items. I looked on my receipt and we didn't get charged for them so I knew I needed to pay for them they just didn't get on the order. She was so caught up in the fact I had to pay which I knew and was ok with that...that she was loosing site of what actually needs to be done. There were no conversation of Sorry that did not get on your order we will make that for you and you can pick that up if you would like. There was only will write it down and you can get it next time. I said no we need to eat and this was for someone so I need to pick it up. So I had to leave my dinner that I got that was getting cold and go pick up but did not get on the order originally. They made it quickly I picked it up took it back to the house and everything was okay. I sit down start eating mine once was a shrimp crab quesadilla. It was good I got a few bites in and then I hear a crunch. One of the shrimp that was in my quesadilla still had the shell on it... Gross. Needless to say I'm not happy and I will not be going back.

Los Agaves is one of my Go To restaurants. They have a great selection of authentic Mexican food that are delicious 😋 ! Staff are always cordial, Jose thanks for getting my meal so quickly and Manager Daniel for making this restaurant a place I want to go to eat ! Thanks. Just to add I had the Chicken fajitas with rice and beans ! The meal was wonderful!

Me and my sister went out to eat and decided on Los Agaves because we had heard some good things, however, these were not fulfilled. We arrived at half an hour past and ordered within ten minutes. This is when things started to go bad. Whilst we waited for our food five other tables (along with a party not already included in the five others) received their meals before us and two tables were also able to leave, all before we received ours. During this waiting process our server continued to give us new drinks but was disrespectful while doing so. After an estimated forty-five minute wait we finally got our order. The food has excellent taste, I will not deny that, but my sisters was warm and mine was cold. So to recap the story so far, we waited forty-five minutes, watched others come and go, and were given food that was not completely warm. To make matters worse when we complained they conveniently couldn’t find the manager. With this we get the food into to-go boxes and then we leave after we’ve paid. Once we arrive home we decide to call and ask to speak to a manager, to which they ask for a minute to get them and after no more than two minutes pass a manager is on the phone. He continues to be disrespectful to us over the phone after already being disrespected in the restaurant. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior for a restaurant. We will never be attending this establishment again due to the amount of ignorance...

This was the most horrible dinner I've ever had there..the waitress named Hailey couldn't one thing right that you asked for after we asked for another waitress she came back and confronted us. She yelled and screamed at us in restaurant she was not professional at all and victor the manager I don't think he knew what to do. We left without our food after it was screwed up twice the waitress was very embarrassing for us as customers and should of been restaurant too she should of been fired on the spot only one waitress knew what happened cuz she had to fix Hailey's screw ups. It will be a very long time it or even if ever....if we decide to go back it has gone down hill if they pay ppl like that to run the restaurant don't waste your time or money on going there...I hardly ever do reviews but I really don't want this to happen to someone else...have a good evening we sure didn't after a long day at work for us and then yardwork after work we decide to spend our hard earned money somewhere instaed of cooking at home I'd rather save my money..Can not say one good thing we never got to eat out food we say for so long for it then it was all wrong when we got it and ask for new waitress and get confronted like we are in an alley by some trashy ghetto girl...oh Lord very bad service and not happy with the way it was handled coming from a business owner should of been...
