That's My Dawg — Restaurant in Moncks Corner

I love the food. We usually get great service. Today was horrible. We arrived at 4:40 pm on 7/24/25. They were setting up equipment for a live band. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived, just a few patrons sitting at the bar. There were five girls, that seemed to be wait staff. We seated ourselves. They all seemed very distracted with the band set up and chattering amongst themselves. A girl came and took our order. The food came quickly, and was very good. They never came back to check on us or clear our table. My friend tried to get their attention to have her tea refilled. No one was looking our way so my friend held her glass up in the air and called across the room to one of the wait staff who was standing talking to a couple of other employees. She turned her head towards us and said, "I'll be there in a minute!" She came and filled her tea a few minutes later. We sat for quite some time and almost got up and left, not realising we hadn't paid yet. We tried to get someone's attention but they were all in a huddle around the bar. We finally flailled our arms in the air, literally, to get somebody to come and give us our bill. As the girl was walking across the restaurant, with the machine in hand to check us out, a couple walked in and sat down. You could tell they were regulars. She stopped at their table, on the way to ours, and said hello. She asked them if they wanted their regular and were ready to order. The people said they could wait and she said, "no that's okay." She put their order into the kitchen, walked over to the drink station, handed both of them their drinks, then came to check us out. I...

Ive heard lots of people rave about this place, and they are ALWAYS busy, but im not sure how. Ive given them a try on more than one occasion, and wasnt impressed either time. I went in and asked for a bowl of chili, the girl said she could make that happen, it was $10 something for two small Styrofoam bowls of very greasy hot dog chili, topped with cheese that didnt melt, but i figured that was because i was waiting on an order for someone else, (but even after reheating it in the microwave it didnt melt), I ate the food, but it wasnt great. Figured it was just that item. The order for the other person i placed was for a BACON beast burger, they completely left off the bacon! I gave them another shot after hearing great things about their cheesesteak, i got myself and my husband each a cheesesteak, the fries were soggy (but i didnt want the fries to begin with so i wasnt mad about that), but the cheesesteak had a very sweet taste to it, not sure what caused that, but even my husband said his was sweet too. But the person who raves about them, said his has never been sweet... but after both the experiences, and the price we paid for disappointing food, we wont be back. And all orders i placed...

We have eaten at the food truck MANY times and are so happy that the restaurant opened as well. We went to the grand opening and while they were packed with customers they had plenty of servers, cooks and help. This is something that places just don’t have these days. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and working hard. The food came out within 15 minutes and it was hot, delicious and more than what I could even eat. I had the Philly cheesesteak, which is one of my favorites. My daughter had one of the salads and she said it was one of the best she’s ever had.my son in law had the sweet and spicy wings and loved them. For the super bowl they offered order ahead wings, they are closed on Sundays but knowing that people always want good for for the super bowl this is something they offered. We ordered 60 wings, lemon pepper and sweet and spicy with the homemade ranch dressing . They were delicious and still hot when my husband got home with them to Jedburg from Moncks Corner.
