I made up my mind to stop going to this location and the other one on Applegarth (same owner) back during the summer. Tired of the frustrated, overworked, employees who clearly didn't care to provide anything more than the bare minimum in service. Any attempt to request the slightest deviation in their routine was more than they could take. I've been going to Wawa just slightly down the road for everything Dunkin' can provide and more and with much better service.
That said, a friend asked me to go by Dunkin this morning to get them a coffee so I went just for them. It turns out, as I turned from the drive up window to set down a tray of coffee, one of the cups did not have a plastic plug in the hole and a large wave of the coffee, with cream and sugar in it, went all over my passenger seat. Typical of this place, one of them simply didn't care enough to put the plug into both cups.
Amazingly, this place took the time to make a sign (see photo) asking customers to BE NICE TO THEIR STAFF when their staff is so indifferent. The world is truly changing I guess when rather than encouraging service workers to be nice - the customers instead are admonished to do so. This says SO much about the managment here, and probably throughout Dunkin' which truly ranks among the lowest of franchise store quality and service....

Item 1) The cashier on the drive-through line dropped the bag of my food on the floor and then proceeded to do this elaborate switch aro. he handed the dropped bag to one of the expediters who brought it back to the donut section and placed the dropped bag it at the top of the donut rack. he then procured a new bag and put a random donut in the bag (not even a donut I ordered), and swiftly grabbed the dropped bag up top en passante style, to make it look like they were replacing the food. he then gave the dropped bag back to the cashier and scurried off with the deceptive dummy bag. The Cashier then handed the bag that had been dropped to me with a big smile like they replaced the food. I almost laughed it was too funny.
Item 2) they put cheese on my bagel when I asked...
Read moreDisappointed After Years of Loyalty Iâve been coming to this Dunkinâ location for over 10 years, but todayâs experience was deeply disappointing. I brought four teenage boys in for breakfast and drinks. They ordered Coolattas, but the server mistakenly gave them frozen coffee instead. The kids immediately pointed out the mistake, and the sales staff was ready to correct it â but the lady owner refused to replace the drinks.
Rather than argue and disappoint the boys, I ended up paying again for the correct order. To make it worse, the owner kept the incorrect frozen coffees as well. The salespeople were kind and helpful, but the ownerâs attitude was completely lacking in customer service.
This used to be my go-to Dunkinâ, but this experience really changed how I feel about the place. A little understanding and accountability wouldâve...
