I arrived at the restaurant around 12:30 pm for my order that was scheduled for pickup at 12:30 pm. The order line was a bit long so I stood off the side (where there is supposed to be a pickup counter/shelf and there is not) waiting for another employee to acknowledge me, eventually I did get acknowledged by a young lady and she asked me for the order name, I replied with "," she went to the back and checked the screen then came back out to ask me if it would be under another name, I said "probably not but try the last name, **," she returned out of the back with 2 gallons and filled them with Sweet Tea and Lemonade and another cup with a Diet Pepsi, keep in mind I had not shown her the order sheet yet. She returned to the back and about 10 more minutes passed by and then she came back out and stated she did not see the order anywhere in the system, I offered her to see the order sheet, and she took it (it was a print out of the confirmation email received after we placed the order) looked it over and told me, "it's not Tuesday," I said to her that that was the date the email was sent over and to flip to the back page where it says our order will be ready for pickup at 12:30 pm on 2/5/2025, she then went to the back and grabbed her manager, Alex (I apologize if that is the incorrect spelling), he then looked over the order email, went to the back and printed out a paper that stated our order had failed and that he could not offer an explanation as to why that happened. I then asked if the order failed then how she knew the drinks I ordered without seeing the order email, the young lady then let me know that that is a different screen they see those orders on, I let her know that that would not make sense because how did part of the order fail and not the other part when it was all placed together. I let the manager know that the order did go through and we got an order confirmation number and our card was charged for it, he then asked me to pull up my bank statements, I got those and showed them to him, he let me know that because the charge is showing as 'pending' that does not mean it went through, although I am not sure what bank he uses as all of my charges show pending until 1-2 business days later then it will show as posted, that does not mean my order/charge did not go through but that is besides the point. During this entire ordeal, the blame was seemingly placed on me, the customer and the manager showed no sympathy and did not even offer to make the food on the spot. This location has done nothing but disappoint me as a professional and as a personal customer. They have continuously messed up orders I have had in the past and the only solution they have is to have me return to the restaurant for them to make it right which I cannot always do because I expect my order to be correct the first time and I have to work. I will not be returning to this location ever again and I hope that no one else has to have...
Read moreI have never been to a restaurant where the food is 5 stars and the customer service is -4 stars which is how we evened out to a 1 star experience. My wife and I just left from having lunch and the lady working the counter claimed that the transaction had not went thru on our card so she asked us to scan it again then again for a 3rd time. Claiming then it finally went thru successfully. When in fact it had went thru all 3 times charging us triple the amount. We spoke to some other guy who was allegedly higher rank and tried to talk to us like we didn't know how banks or transactions worked and said it would take 24 hour to fix and this giant mistake is a common occurrence. Then the first lady asked to look at our personal banking information as if she didn't believe us that it went thru 3 times. Read moreI'm a Mcalisters employee at the Ballancroft Parkway, Charlotte, NC location. On my way north, I called my husband and yelled "Selinsgrove has a McAllisters!!!!". We stopped here on our way from NY back south. Jalil was a super nice kid & introduced himself to us. Has a great attitude! Being an employee, I asked the manager for a t-shirt to take back home with me. I got my shirt!, and I am so excited to share my story with my coworkers! Thanks! Dirk also chatted with my husband and I for a few minutes. Great team! Seems you all get along! Food was great & it was on point. My only suggestion to management, hand your table numbers out at check out. It was odd trying to see what table number was available as some had people sitting in them but numbers were still on the stand. I can do a scan at my store and see which table needs food quickly.
