I would love nothing more than for this small business and all small business to succeed and do well. Its is better the owners hear constructive criticism, because otherwise your customers won't say anything and just won't come back. First the food. Very bland, did not taste like homemade or fresh ingredients, my guess based on flavor is that the majority of the food was frozen/commercially bought food. It wasn't horrible, just nothing interesting or special that would make my family want to return. Service, Bad, we were the only people in the restaurant, barely saw the waitress, everything was delivered slow and hap hazard. Cleanliness, our table was never turned over properly from the prior guests, all the sugar packets had an unknown substance on it, cloth napkins were dirty, other tables/settings didn't look great. The setting was dark and dreary, not much ambience. Pickup window oddly situated in the back, with people constantly walking by to pick up...
Read moreWe used to go to this restaurant when this was called Marylou’s once a week. My 4 year old liked the pizza and friendliness of the employees. Just visited today, curious about how the restaurant changed after the rebranding and new ownership.
Food wasn’t very different: pizza crust was a little bit more thinner and crunchier but way more salty than what it used to be. The noodles in the chicken soup was stale and tasted like they have been prepared a few days ago (not super fresh).
Service: this is a major downgrade, lacks that warmth and friendly feeling. Most employees I interacted with seemed nice and helpful, except for an older lady working there. She was a little bit rude to our 4 year old. He asked her a question a few times and she didn’t even care to answer, looked away. At the end of our meal, she didn’t even care visit us in a robotic manner and asked ‘how was the food’ like she was checking a box.
Definitely not going back this...
Read moreThe calzone was perfect. It was 9-1/2" long and only $9.00. The cheese was thick and stringy too. The sauce was great as well. Lots of seasoning to make every bite as flavorful as can be. We also had the alfredo tortellini, which was cooked perfectly. Both the pasta and sauce tasted fresh! I was expecting a store-bought tortellini with a jar of Alfredo sauce, but after my lady was too full from the amount she ate, she let me finish it. I had to scrape around the container with my fork to get every last drop of the Alfredo sauce. Possibly the best I've ever had. I can't wait to try the Mashed potato and bacon pizza next. We had a very good first impression of Marylou's...
