9/2/23: We were visiting from Dallas, TX and staying in Monroe. We placed a pick up order from Applebees located at 4911 Pecanland Monroe LA 71203 on 9/2/23 around 2140. TB#528. My wife called to place the order and specified "no pink" on our burgers. I went to pick it up, parked at the To Go window and waited for about five minutes. There was nobody at the window. My wife received a text to park at the curbside area, and we waited another five minutes. I walked inside, and a young lady greeted my. I told her that I was there to pick up an order, and she brought me to a table where a young man in a blue Applebees hat was sitting, conversing with a female. He said, "what do you need", in a tone that wasn't friendly. I felt that I was interrupting him. I told him, that I came to pick up an order, and he pointed me towards the bar. The bartender wasn't very friendly either, and did not apologize for my wait at the window, nor at curbside. We went home and started eating. My burger didn't taste right, and when I looked at it in the light, it was basically all pink inside. I felt ill and took indigestion medicine. The customer service at this location was non existent and the kitchen staff is putting customer's health at risk by preparing undercooked food. I am aware that meat continues to cook after it is taken off heat, so I can only imaging how my burger was when it was first taken off the flat iron. 9/7/23: I received a call from Christina (GM). We had a great chat about my visit, and I hope that moving forward, customer service and food quality improves.

I wish I had more positives to say about this restaurant because my bartender was really nice and I could tell she was really trying - poor thing nas been picking up after the kitchen mistakes for awhile and you can tell. My med-rare steak came out raw. The pretzels were doughy (on the side of raw) and the cheese sauce tasted like flour and was served in a to-go container, half-full? When I finally got my steak (after sending it back, something I HATE to do) it was almost inedible because of the amount of salt on it. I paid $26 for a steak cooked incorrectly and had the saltiness of a pickle. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came straight from a packet. The broccoli was the best thing on my plate and they were most certainly frozen just 5 minutes before they hit my plate. Not to mention, in the middle of a global pandemic - not a single precaution was taken. I have NEVER written a bad review based on food before - I have pretty low standards - I will eat anything. Anything but this. The beer was fine - but I don't know how you could mess that up. 🥹 I will update my review if I get food poisoning.

All of this was told to me by the server since the manager did not address me directly. It is now the next day and the refund never happened.

My family and I visited this place on Monday 11-15-2021. We were celebrating a 14 year Olds birthday. There was about 26 of us. We waited 30 minutes to be seated. Only to be seated in the same seats.that were avaliable when we first arrived. I think the staff wanted us to leave... because why else would you keep telling us it would be a wait.time when there were at least 40 seats avaliable for use. Any ways... we were seated. Everything was going fine. I mean...service was slow, but we didn't mind the wait as we recognized that there were a lot of us. After about 45 minutes I completed my Iced Tea. Only to find some foreign material on the inside of my cup. OMG. Yuck! Disgusting! Unacceptable. Yall...all night and even up until now I have been hacking up mucus... lost my voice and still feel uneasy about the incident. I can't help but wonder what was in the cup. Deep off in this Covid pandemic...I drank from a used cup... I was and still am terrified.. what did I ingest. It was a slimy texture. Was it snot, sewage, grease... yall... im still so very disappointed. The manager was supposed to call me on yesterday 11-16-2021...but I guess it nor I was important. I did call today and was told to call back in the morning because the assistant district manager would be in the store. The crazy thing is even though the service was slow...the wait staff that did serve us was extremely nice patient and basically would have earned a great review... but after that surprise inside.my cup... and after. Regurgitating over and over again...and after having to leave the bday celebration without even enjoying the birthday celebration... yall I can't write a good review. I still feel like I should seek medical help. Who knows what was in that cup. I did ask for the cup back and the waitress returned the slimy cup to me. But after going back to the restroom to vomit again...they STOLE the.cup back. I guess they knew to cover their behind. Safe to say that I would never return to AppleBees... and would suggest you consider eating anywhere but here. Who wants to get sick because of filth? I hope this never happens to anyone else. And yes I will still call for the asst district manager on tomorrow because he needs to understand that someone is sinking their ship... And no one even cared enough to follow up... Update still no response after leaving a second...

So I went to applebees last night July 1st to celebrate my birthday with my partner. We sat for about 20 mins with our menus til the hostess (Tony) can back to our table, he asked if anyone had come to our table and took our drink orders. My partner got his sweet tea right away but I had to wait for the bar tender to make my drink. Where we were seated I could see her, she was having a good old time with the individuals seated around the bar. When we walked in there was dirty plates at the bar that sat there, and were still there when we left. Around 10-15 (Tony) comes again and asks about my drink. Then the bar tender finally started making it. He came back with my drink then took our food orders at this time. He stated he was not our waiter but was helping out a waitress we had yet to see. So fast forward to we've been sitting at our table for over an hour and a lady comes to our table holding our food, she then leaves to get us silverware then returns and asks if we'd like any sauce. We say no of course, no she did not introduce herself as our waitress, several other people have also left at this point, people who came around the same time we did, some even after we did. We were over it, I asked to speak to the manager. A man I hadn't seen all night came over and I explained what happened how we just met our waitress a few minutes ago, wed been waiting over an hour, and a hostess took our food and drink orders. We wanted to pay for the drinks and we had not touched the food at all. ( the steak as way over cook, and my mac and cheese looked like penne noodles with some shredded cheese sprinkled on top) then the lady from before, I'm assuming again was our waitress idk she didnt introduce herself, came over and stated we didnt have to pay for any drinks and could just leave. I have to say applebees ruined my birthday dinner experience, I just wanted to have an alcoholic drink and some good bbq ribs. I won't be...

The WORST service we have had in our lives. It is very unfortunate because I could tell many of the servers and even the bus-boy (Charles who deserves a MAJOR promotion) were working extremely hard. We were unlucky and got an unenthusiastic, lazy, slothful, and selfish waitress. She took what seemed like decades to check on our table, and on the rare occasion she did she got EVERYTHING wrong. For starters she did not give us any straws even after we asked TWICE but the bus-boy Charles went above and beyond his call of duty to pick up the slack and gace us straws. My mother ordered a pasta dish and when she got it it was freezing cold. My brother, father, and I got the "unlimited wings" (a special on Wednesdays),but my father asked for blue cheese with his. He asked her on FOUR seperate occasions before she FINALLY brought some and by that time we were done and had eaten a few plates of wings. I originally ordered the sweet asian wings and everytime I got another plate i told her I wanted asian wings, but out of the four or five plates i ate only ONE was what i ordered! Every other time she gave me plain hot wings. On top of this she rarely gave us refills or checked in on us. Her whole section seemed abandoned. She spent most of her time gossiping in the kitchen or leaning her fat self over the bar watching the people she was to serve sit without drinks or wings. Finally we asked for a ticket. We asked for a SMALL to go box. She instead gave us two huge boxes with a clear lid. My brother and I figured our last half-plate of wings would go to waste anyway so we used the extra box to put them in to eat later. Then that fat hobgoblin rushed over with a sudden sense of urgency to tell us we could not box the wings and nearly reached into my PRIVATE AREA to snatch the box from my lap! It was TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR! This was a TERRIBLE experience. I would NOT recommend Applebees to...
