Enoch's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Monroe

I thought the place sucked. The customer service is not all that great. A black guy just came right up to our table and swiped an empty glass off of it. No "hello" or "lemme get this for you.." We didn't know what he was doing at first and It made us feel awkward. The outdoor furniture is very uncomfortable. The food took a long time to get to us. When i complained I was told I put in the order late and that's why it was taking so long. - like it was my fault. No burger should take 45 minutes to cook and be served. The area around the register is a real clusterf*ck. I had the "Big Arse" burger and I didn't care for it. It tasted like the meat wasn't seasoned. Cars were parked so close together me and my lady friend from Ireland almost couldn't make it out. I don't know why this place is such a big rave around here. Like most bars, the people were polite but it was missing that sincere feeling of being welcomed and a valued customer. I've felt more welcomed at a brothel.

Enochs is not like any other space you're going to find on this spinning oblate spheroid we call Earth (BTW) I just learned that the Earth, well, it's better than we know. Good music GREAT burgers. Service is better than the other side of things...Anywho .. Lance! Lance is this male who tends bar. I like pick fights with him and once, I went so far as to ask"Which NOSE HOLE do you want my cigarette in? Pick one cause it's definitely going on.... I even stated loudly in front of management, cooks, patrons, pedestrians, And c...."down your beer.. don't waste it....I need the bottle to bust you over the head! Yea.. it's a great feeling to be able to express yourself violently but still exercising control. Wish I could replay that scene with him again .. just for laughs. I imagine anyone seeing the fight would maybe think it to be real. Maybe not the best idea to recreate... some do gooder might try to intervene and get heroic. Hmm mmm. ...

Atmosphere was nice, and I've been here before a couple times for poetry, DnD, and other clubs and stuff--never ordered or anything. This usually doesn't happen here, but I had really bad service. Honestly, I wish I could've given it less stars for the service without it not counting. Most of my friends, who were mostly white, also took note that it was only towards me and my other friend, who was also not white. Didn't want to assume that it was racism, but we were fully sober, not being loud/rowdy, and were polite, which made us really confused as to why we had such a rude server who told us to basically serve ourselves while serving our friends everything they ordered. Kind of ruined the whole feeling since it was a celebration, and it became really awkward after that. Food was pretty...
