The Lady at the drive thru barely spoke English and she got real testy because she couldn't understand the new menu items I was asking for. She had us pull around then put her hand up in my face mid order said she doesn't understand then slammed the drive thru window before i could say anything else.Ive always enjoyed coming to this Jack in the box for years now but recently there is RARELY a person working who i don't have a communication problem with. They gave us only half of our order. My moms food wasn't there at all. We stopped in the parking lot to check our food because of all the problems with the language barrier. My mom had to go inside in her pajamas and was understably upset. My mom told the lady inside that its a problem not having someone who speaks English there. The lady looked very annoyed when my mom said they need to have someone who is fluent in English working there. , we normally get good customer service at this location. There's usually a bit of a language barrier but the workers know the menu so its normally not a huge problem. This time the woman was flat out RUDE . This location is in a pretty rural area of NC. The extremely vast majority of people here don't speak Spanish. Every time we go to this Jack in the Box it has almost exclusively Hispanic construction workers from out of town as customers. If there was an English speaking person working here at all times, the customer base would grow exponentially. The food is good but nobody has time for fast food when it takes forever to get past the language barrier. The name on the receipt was "Beny". I have no idea if that was the actual name of the woman at the drive thru. This communication barrier NEEDS TO BE FIXED. We aren't going to go again as soon as we would have if the experience had been good and I guarantee that you have lost LOADS of customers...

When my mom arrived at the drive-thru, she told the employee she had a mobile order. My mom speaks English, but it is her second language and she has an accent. Instead of assisting her, the female employee responded rudely and aggressively, immediately yelling that she did not understand what my mom was saying. I was in the car and witnessed everything. It was unprofessional, shocking, and honestly discriminatory.
My mom calmly repeated that she had a mobile order, something we have done for years at multiple Jack in the Box locations without issue. The same woman then yelled at her again and told her she had to go inside for mobile orders. Already in tears from the way she had been treated, my mom went inside. The order was clearly sitting on the counter, ready to go, but instead of handing it to her right away, the staff made her wait until they decided to finally give it to her.
This behavior was unnecessary, hurtful, and extremely disrespectful. My mom is one of the kindest people you could meet, and she avoids confrontation. For her to be treated in a way that made her cry is unacceptable.
Additionally, I want to mention that this location has a long-standing issue of claiming to be closed before 5:15 AM, despite being advertised as 24 hours. Even with mobile orders, customers are often turned away until after that time.
Oh and lastly, they’re always “out of ketchup.” Seriously? KETCHUP? Just say you don’t feel like grabbing some. The employees lack manners and work ethic.

Simple enough right! you would think so….well the order screen showed 2 of the $1 chicken sandwiches which are not even close to the same as the Jack spicy. I corrected the order taker and then was told to pull to the window. Got my order and made the mistake of not checking the bag before I pulled off. Well the order was wrong and I got 2 of the $1 menu chicken sandwiches. I went back in line and pulled back up to the window. I told them about the issue and they stood there and had no idea what to do. I told them I wanted 2 of the Jack spicy because I don’t like the cheap $1 menu ones. I told them I didn’t mind keeping what they gave me and then paying for what I ordered and that it was not a big issue. They left the window and walked around unsure of what to do. The girl then came back and asked if I would give them back the 2 - $1 menu chicken sandwiches. I told them never mind and drove off. I was not going to return food for someone else to get. That is disgusting and not sanitary. I have never seen something so simple be so complicated. I ate the cheap chicken sandwiches and they tasted like they were heated up in the microwave. And when I got to the cheese fries they had jalapeños which I did not ask for.
