The wonderful service and the delicious food made up for the fact that the two people who had enthusiastically recommended Khan's Mongolian Grill did not show up for lunch as planned. My waitress, Marissa, was fantastic. She asked me if I had ever eaten at Khan's before. When I told her "no", she helped me fill out my table card (I chose fried rice) and then proceeded to help me through the selection line offering valued suggestions. I got two eggs and then filled my stainless steel bowl with a whole lot of ingredients which I knew I would enjoy (shrimp, beef, teriyaki chicken, snow peas, English peas, corn, water chestnuts, and bamboo shoots). After choosing a couple of sauces (teriyaki and sweet and sour), my tray was left for the chefs to cook. In a few minutes, Marissa brought my meal to me. It was both delicious and bountiful (enough for me to take a good portion home). The cost of the meal, including tax and drink, was $18.28. This was on Saturday,...
Read moreService was okay. It would probably be better if it wasn't just one person waitressing the entire restaurant. Unfortunately if you're not an experienced Asian Chef you are pretty much going to eat the same thing you would have seasoned for yourself at home because they make you pick out all of your own seasoning. If I knew how to cook Asian I would have just cooked it for myself at home, I wanted to come out relax and eat a delicious meal at a restaurant where someone who knows how to cook those food would cook something delicious guess the concept is okay if all of your clients understand Asian recipes and cooking but basically I spent $15 for one bite of food that I did not enjoy. Yes I even explained to the waitress I had never been there that I did not understand process and also that I didn't know how to cook or Season Asian food and asked for some guidance ....still didn't receive that guidance. Thoroughly disappointed and would not recommend going...
Read moreOkay, a friend took me here for the first time today. Our server was funny, attentive, and so helpful that she walked me to the ramen station to show me exactly how to pick what I wanted. She answered all my questions - many of them before I even asked! Once my food came, she checked back in with me often to make sure I was happy and had everything I needed (extra sauce, refills, etc.). She even offered me a to-go drink and a special resuable container for my leftovers! I'm really trying to figure out whether the service or the food was better and I just can't. And there wasn't annoyingly loud music to set off my sensory issues. A huge lunch bowl that completely filled me up and then some was less than $14. Amazing food, amazing service, and reasonable prices. I'm going back to this place even if I have to walk...
