While visiting the lovely city of Monroe Michigan, my family decided to dine in at Misty’s plant based foods. The building was beautifully furnished and the atmosphere was phenomenal. The owner, along with all of her employees greeted up upon entry and happily described the entire menu to us. After some thought we decided to go with four Mexican bowls, three strawberry lemonade, and a regular lemonade. I noticed that the prices were not listed on the menu, but continued with the order due to the friendly nature of the establishment. The cashier took each of our names, letting us know that the staff wanted to familiarize themselves with their customers to develop a better relationship with their client base. After the interaction was finished, and I glanced down at the balance due, $100 dollars...at this point I knew that either the food was going to be top tier, or I was going to be in for a disappointing lunch. Unfortunately, it was the latter. We had sat down to wait four our meals to be brought out, which only took a short amount of time. Upon receiving our meals we couldn’t help but noticed that the meals were served cold, not a deal breaker. The unfortunate portion started when my mother pulled a hair longer then her arm from her bowl, needless to say, the hair was not her own...we also noticed the meek amount of food within each bowl. I do not have any experience working in the restaurant/hospitality industry, but I do happen to cook my own meals from time to time. The cost of the contents within each bowl could not total more than $5 dollars. I can not complain about the taste of the lunch, but our appetites where definitely squandered by the sight of another individuals hair within the meal.
Needless to say, misty’s plants were...

Delicious food, but HOLY COW the prices are up through the roof. $18 for basically every item on their menu. I always leave paying $30 for a smoothie and lunch. Don’t get me started on those smoothie prices. They don’t even have their prices on their website, they don’t wanna scare anyone away. Like I said, the food tastes good, but I come here, 3 times a year? They need to drop their prices. They stay open and have no business most days is what the owner said…well, then drop your prices. Everything is saying, don’t go here… I even asked if they give discounts for cancer patients (because they sell that cancer drink) but they all said no.. what a shame… an organic restaurant but the prices are outrageous.. trust me, it’s not normal prices, don’t believe them. They are literally selling lettuce charging $10 for it. Greedy, shameful. That’s not what the Bible says to do, and yet they call...
