I've had the pleasure of making several visits since their soft opening. The space is delightful with ample seating and dining spaces, a playroom for kiddos, free board games to play in the shop, puzzles, merchandise from local vendors & artists, and books from a nearby seller.

The food and pastries never disappoint. Sweet or savory, you're certain to satisfy your cravings here. Despite many new baristas being trained, I've never had an unpleasant experience with my beverages. I tend to go for a large variety of drinks. Between matcha lattes, miels, and tea-based drinks, each has tasted special, handcrafted, and delicious. Some brews tasted a bit different than I was used to, but I'm confident any major issues could've been easily corrected if I had asked.

I love that an inclusive, progressive, inviting, and comfortable space like Payne's exists in the town I grew up in. The owners and employees are exemplary, kind, and genuine people. Each visit, no matter how much or little time passes between them, feels unique and memorable.

I'm always excited to take folks here when I'm passing through town or visiting. I have high hopes for this business, and I hope the vibrant community in Monroe offers them lots of support as they continue...

Beautiful atmosphere. Very smiling and welcoming. Greeted us as we walked in. Left a 3$ tip. Bill was still under 20$. I got 2 Choc. Chip scones. Delicious soft and yummy. A medium Hazelnut coffee hot and perfection. Daughter got a gluten free choc chip cookie and hot cocoa and loved it. Girlfriend got a large Vanilla ice coffee. She is in heaven 😁. Warm atmosphere. Games to play. Plenty of seating. We will be returning very soon.

I came at about two in the afternoon, and was still able to get a breakfast burrito. Absolutely delicious and everything I wanted. I also had a tiramisu and cappuccino. Both were exactly what I was hoping they would be. The coffee isn't too bitter and the cappuccino was a great temperature, Hot but drinkable right away. The vibes of this place are amazing and if I lived closer I would come here much more frequently.
