Me and my kids usually come here after we leave Kings Island, unfortunately this day I was picking up food for my kids, so they were not with me. I was not in line and the the woman behind the counter asked if I was ready and I stated I was not as I am talking to my daughter and son on the phone and she seriously got an attitude and walked away from the register. I then let it go because maybe I misunderstood her facial expression. So once I got off the phone and ordered the $20.00 meal deal, I asked the other lady if I could get half spicy, half regular and she informed me she only had thighs in spicy so I asked for 2 spicy for me and my daughter and 8 regular for me, my daughter and son to share. Once I recieved my meal I asked the the lady if the Chicken was split up so we coukd tell because it was regular thighs in the box. She turned around and asked the previous woman if she seperated the spicy from the regular and as she has her back turned making other orders she turns around looks at me and and then looks at the lady that was helping me and said "NO!" and rolls her eyes and said "I think the spicy are on top". I am like wow, ok and thank the other lady for helping me and left. I have never been so disrespected there in my life, she really needs to go back to knowing what customer service really is. I wish I knew her name for this review but what I can say as respectfully as possible, she is a slightly bigger young african american woman with short hair about 5'7. I in no way shape or form have a problem with anyone size let me be clear its strictly for review puposes. two stars pertain to this vusit only all...
Read moreAbout two weeks ago, my family — along with another family we were traveling with — stopped at one of your locations just off I-75 while heading home from a trip to Kentucky. We decided to grab dinner at Popeyes, expecting the usual good experience we've had in the past. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t go so well.
When we walked in, the restaurant was almost empty, with just one other customer inside. Both families ordered a 16-piece chicken meal (half spicy, half original), so 32 pieces total. We were pretty surprised when the manager told us we should have called 30 minutes ahead for an order that size. That seemed odd, especially for a location right off a busy highway where larger orders should be expected.
The staff seemed pretty stressed and unorganized. A few of them looked confused and unsure of what to do, and the overweight female manager on duty came across as unprofessional and not very friendly. She didn’t seem too concerned about helping or keeping things moving, which was frustrating. To be honest, it didn’t feel like she was the right fit for a leadership role.
We ended up waiting and did eventually get our food — which, to be fair, was hot and tasted great. However, the spicy chicken was missing from the order, which was a letdown. At that point, though, we were just ready to eat and get back on the road. One positive note: there was a male manager there who actually seemed to know what he was doing and handled things much better than the rest of the team.
We’ve always been fans of Popeyes, so it was disappointing to have this kind of experience. Hopefully, this feedback helps improve things at...
Read moreThis is the Monroe exit location. I guess I was early. But I saw another car in their drive thru, and it was a bit after 10:30 AM, so I pulled in. I used a coupon -- announcing to the person first thing that I had one -- and had no trouble ordering. The girl at the window took my payment and asked me to pull up to wait and she would bring my food out. I looked at her and back behind where zero cars waited. She indicated that the timer was running as long as I sat at the window. So as not to ding them on time, I pulled up next to the door on the other side of the pick-up window. And I waited. And waited. And waited. A full 10 minutes later, a different girl came with my food from the complete opposite side of the building. I was so surprised and apologized if I was in the wrong place. Nothing was really said except, "you're fine." I drove out of the pick up lane and around the building to a parking spot and checked my food. Sandwich, check. Cajun fries, check. Unfortunately, the fries were already getting close to cold. I ate a few and opened my sandwich. Obviously, it was JUST cooked as it was very hot. Too bad the extra pickles were missing.
The atmosphere was a bit weird because of the lack of communication and the super long wait.
This somewhat disappointing and odd experience won't keep me away from Popeyes. I crave that...
