Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Monroe

This was the absolute worst Skyline experience I have had. I came here with my grandmother to have some dinner the night before leaving for bootcamp. Everything started out fine. We got our food quickly. My chili cheese sandwich was tasty. But, my 3 way was lacking and my grandmother's 4 way with onion was basically all onion. I drank all my water a couple mins after getting the food. I waited a good five mins before getting impatient. There are literally three tables. Ours included. So, I waited another five minutes before getting up and asking for water. This has been ten minutes. I tell the girl what happened. She told me "sorry, you're waitress left". I was looking at our waitress. Almost immediately after I sat down with my water, she brought our bill. I said, we would like something taken off. This has not been a pleasant experience. At all. "I will tell the manager". Okay, fine. I waited another ten minutes. No one came to check on us. So, here we are. Twenty minutes into our food and not a single person came over. it has been 35 mins now, and someone walked past "you guys didn't want to go waters, did you?" "No thanks" as I am writing this review. First time anyone has checked on us. 35 mins later So, I go talk to the manager and explain what happened. He said "we can take 20% off" "No. This has been an absolutely terrible experience with terrible customer service and sub par food. It is 15 bucks. You need to comp the entire thing. If you had addressed the issue immediately, it would be different. Instead, I had to wait ten minutes and then seek you out." So, he comped the food. I have been a server for four years. I am an easy customer. But, this has been completely unacceptable. I will not come back to this Skyline. Gold Star is literally...

27 years of Skyline and foe the first time I have to post an under 3 star.

Tables was dirty. After was wqs seated we heard other customers ask to have their tables wiped off.

We had to ask for silverware after our food was served. We was also given no crackers.

As far as our drink cups? Forget about it. No refiles because the waitress who walked past our table 7 times didn't bother to check.

When the waitress finally came to the table we told her our treatment and she actukly smiled. I had to ask if treating customers like garbage was funny. Then asked for the manager.

She tried to use thw excuse of being under staffed. I told her I'm in thw same boat and all my customers was served so that no excuse.

Best that could be done was to pick up the check which she did.

27 years and easily 35 trips a year to skyline and this was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had.......

My suggestion as a customer is that If you can't run the dining room and drive thru at the same time then close one of them. I could handle that. Whay I can't handle is being a customer and getting treated...
