Genuinely don’t know how giving people what they ordered is so difficult for Taco Bell employees. I worked in food service all throughout high school and never once felt that my job was so challenging that I would consistently screw up peoples orders. This time we ordered a caramel apple empanada so obviously they charged us for a caramel apple empanada. The manager came to the window after we had already paid and said “they’re a limited time item and we’re out. Can I give you cinnamon twists?” And I said no that I just wanted a refund for that item. He then argued and said “anything but a refund I get in trouble for refunds” 😅 I don’t think that’s my problem. You charged me for something you don’t have. Mistakes happen but I want my money back. Read moreWe had a bad experience a few weeks ago here and called and spoke w a female manager. She was very polite and apologetic. She gave us coupons to come back. So tonight we tried to go back, not even using our coupons and the exact same issue happened. The Doritos tacos were not only cold but mush. My wife's soft taco was cold. We called and spoke w a manager, Chuck. Not only did he speak rudely but he also laughed and told me that "tacos are mushy". Well, when I live 7 mins away and spend $44, they shouldn't be. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I don't expect it to be a five star meal. Then once we recieved the order they sent out chicken chalupas instead of beef. The soft tacos that come with the meal were poorly wrapped (the tortilla, not the paper wrapper) and very messy. There seems to be no quality control. The girl taking our drive thru order was very polite and professional, the manager seemed to be on edge. Most likely over worked.
