We eat at this location often, and have never had any issues at all with food or service…. UNTIL today. We went in tonight for dinner. Three of our group all ordered cheeseburgers. When they arrived, all 3 were pink in the middle. I took them back to the counter and politely asked for them to be replaced. Cody, one of the owners, told me this “ I can make you new burgers if you want, but they will look like that too. We have a new vendor for our meat because our typical vendor ran out of meat, and this is just how the meat looks when its cooked”. At that time, another gentleman walked up with his burger, he had a double deluxe. ONE OF HIS BURGERS WAS BROWN (cooked all the way) while his other patty was pink…on the same sandwich. Cody told him the same thing he told me. We both asked for our money back and received refunds. On our way out we asked Cody about it again, and taught him how hamburger works and also the health effects of serving undercooked meat. He again stayed firm in his belief that it was possible for a hamburger to be pink in the middle AND cooked all the way. We then asked for corporates phone number. Cody began trying to talk around our question for corporates phone number. I insisted, and he came back with a pink sticky note with a phone number. We went outside and attempted to call corporate, and to our complete shock, Cody had given us the wrong phone number. He then acted shocked when I walked back in and demanded the correct number for corporate, asking me “did your call not go through”. He then gave me the correct number and we left. Before leaving he stated that they have had tons of complaints since switching to this new “mystery” hamburger meat that is cooked all the way and still pink in the middle. We will not...
Read moreOnly recieving one star because the food is usually good, without that I would give zero stars. Flashback to 3 months ago, we went through the drive thru, after placing our order, we were told to pull forward to the 1st spot, which is exactly what we did. They were a little busy, but nothing too crazy. However after about 20 minutes of waiting for our food, we started to get a little curious as to where our order was as many cars had come and gone. After 35 minutes, we pulled back around to ask about our order and we're told that the worker came out and "couldn't find us". We were parked in the waiting queue in the very first spot the entire time. After about an hour we finally got our food, and even then almost every item was made incorrectly. At this point we just said forget it, and went home. We hadn't been back, until tonight. My husband picked it up on his way home. We ordered, 1 kids burger meal, 2 other burgers, pretzel bites, and an order of chicken tenders. Not only were all 3 of our sandwiches made incorrectly, one of which was my son's that he couldn't eat due to an allergy, when I went to give him some of the tenders instead, they weren't even in the bag. We don't come to Culver's often, mainly due to convince, but we used to be excited when it was convinent. However, we've had issues over the past multiple visits, except for when we eat inside, even though I've only listed our past 2 visits. I can confidently say that we will NOT be back, which is unfortunate since we do enjoy the food when it's...
Read moreI have heard that Culvers is expanding in my area so I decided to give them a try for lunch. I have heard they and their "butter burger" were very good. I was lunch time and I went through the drive-thru. I ordered their bacon burger, single patty, onion rings, and a Peanut Butter shake. I was asked to pull forward after I paid, and there was a sign saying your order is being prepared fresh. It was anything but. The burger was old and cold, so cold that the american cheese didn't melt at all. Nada. The bun was dry and smashed flat, and the crust was flaking off like it had been in a warmer way to long. The shake, I don't know what it was made of. It wasn't ice cream. It was served in the drive-thru in an open top lid. I couldn't even begin to eat with a straw. I waited for it to soften, but it turned into some thick, soft serve shake mix like goo that was very thick and artificial preservative like. It went in the trash when I got to my destination. The Onion rings, while clearly pre-made frozen, were the best part of my meal. It would seem they were the reason I pulled forward, as they the only thing prepared (cooked) fresh. This food quality, in the middle of the lunch rush, with drive-thru nonstop cars makes me wonder if they even care. Horrible first experience with Culvers. Don't know if they'll get a...
