Gloria Jean's Coffees — Restaurant in Monroeville

My sister and I stopped in on August 18th around 8:30pm and it will be our very last time going there. The barista that took our order was rude, she rolled her eyes the entire time while taking our order, she basically tossed the change at us and didn't even ask if we wanted a receipt. I ordered a cookies and cream chiller with almond milk and requested no whipped cream, and my sister made a very similar order regarding the whipped cream. When she was making our drinks, she looked right at us and added the whipped cream anyway. When she handed us our drinks, I reminded her that we didn't want whipped cream and she just replied with a very condescending "oh, I'm sorry", but not once did she offer to remake the drinks for us. Due to health reasons, consuming too much dairy makes us sick.Therefore, we proceeded to scrape the whipped cream (that had already began seeping into our drinks), into the trash. Then, we tasted the drinks. That was probably the worst part. I normally get almond milk in my drinks, so, I know that is not why they tasted so bad. COMPLETE waste of $15 right...

If I was able to give zero stars I would!! I went to this location to buy 4 lbs of coffee. They had a large display of 12oz bags of coffee with a sign in front that said “1lb of coffee $16.99”. The owner and assistant INSISTED the 12 oz bags were 1 lb. I told them several times a lb is 16 oz, NOT 12oz. My husband and I were finally able to get them to measure us four 1-lb bags of coffee. This was after I asked the assistant NOT to use her bare hands to remove some coffee that she over-poured when measuring the lb. She wanted to make sure I didn’t get 1 bean over a pound!! Five stars all the way! I went in today and wasn't sure of what I wanted to drink. I was between an iced latte and an americano - two drinks I often drink. I made the comment of how all americanos taste a little different to me. He explained a little bit more about Gloria Jean's blend for expresso and helped me understand why their Americano tasted so good. In a day and age where customer service seems non-existent, this gentleman was exemplary! The only thing better than the service at Gloria jeans in Monroeville mall, is their coffee! Loved it!
