THE GOOD- Bartender was extremely polite, the food was fast to be sent out, & beer was cold! Interior was colorful & festive. THE BAD- My beer mug had a chip in the glass rim which I nic my lip on. [I was in a good mood and just finishing the beer that I didn't press the issue]. Just informed the staff about it and hope they threw it out. PARKING LOT is in horrible condition with large pot holes making my motorcycle joy ride turn into Daredevil dodging them and avoiding loose gravel. They had no AC running and I was dripping sweat it was so hot inside the restaurant. THE UGLY- When I mentioned the glass. They didn't even ask if I was OK or like a first aid kit or even a napkin. Very disappointed especially having experienced their politeness in greeting and details on how I like my meal order. The chips were room temp but salsa was chilled (almost icy). There was not really any unique or bold flavor to any of it. Everything was bland. Although, the tacos were Double tortilla shells [pan fried?] Together which made them saturated with grease. I was not a fan because I don't want to taste cooking oil? Also, the tacos were so saturated that they fell apart. Additionally, I believe for the taste, and portion size they are over charging. Other Mexican restaurants near by have better food and lower prices.[be sure to look at my other reviews]. Overall, I gave them a loose two star review because customers service is hard to come by these days, and everything else can easily be corrected and fixed. Unfortunately, I have no interest in returning anytime soon, just be aware and use caution at this location.

Okay for the first time, we stopped for drinks and a few appetizers on a Saturday afternoon. Being that we just stopped at the other Patron in East Liberty 2 weeks before, we expected the same here. We were mistaken. The booth floor where we were seated at was sticky. Menus were dirty. We should have left right away but, our guest we were meeting was already there and had already ordered so we stayed. Here is the review… The drink we ordered - the “Margrona” was supposed to come with sugar or salt on the rim of the glass and that was missing. Should have taken a picture. Chips presented were not warm like the chips we received in East Liberty every time they were filled a few weeks prior. The Salsa was not refilled. Queso was warm but runny. Wings were average. Microwave beans and rice I guess. Beef tacos were ok. Can’t remember what our guest had. Our waitress was missing in action when we wanted to checkout. We had to search to find someone so we could be released to pay. Appetizers pictured were what you’d expect. Just something to go along with the drinks. Nothing earth shattering. We won’t be back. Note: The East Liberty Patron on Highland in Pittsburgh was much cleaner and the drinks delivered were presented as pictured on the menu unlike this site. Hard skip.

Just left there for the first time . Went to celebrate my birthday. We go out to eat at least twice a week and I wanted to try something different . Awesome experience! The food was amazing ! The portions were big. The margaritas were cheap and strong ! Our waiter , Hendry , was friendly and we never had to ask for anything he was always checking on us . They came and sang to me for my birthday and I really enjoyed the sopapilla . The shot of tequila was nice also !! Thank you for making my birthday an amazing experience we will definitely be back.

If I could give zero stars but leave a review I would have. where do I start! I frequent the Patron in Monroeville but this time would be my last. My waiter was awful not pleasant, we waited for 10 minutes for drinks to come out. when our food arrived they messed up sons order and had to remake it. my rice was visibly burnt on the top. I didnt want to complain so I ate my sons rice because he didnt like it. we kept trying to flag down our waiter because our cups were empty since they brought out our food. Mind you this all happened on a thrusday. saturday night while out for my birthday I happend to check my account statement and I see that patron charged me twice. the horrible waiter ILLEGAL tipped his self. I called sunday when they opened to inform them hoping they would refund me the $10 that I didnt tip. of course the manager stated that she could not do anything about it she had no power to call another location or speak with someone hire up. I called the wexford locations and a guy was very apologetic and took my information for someone to call me Monday morning the call never came through, and I had to call them back. I spoke to the same guy again and he reassured me that he had infact given my Info to someone who could help and that they would call me. so I'm hoping that they do so I dont have to call my bank and dispute the charges! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY BOYFRIEND AND WENT...

I’m going to be completely honest with my review about this establishment, but to save you from reading it all I’ll have a quick summarization of my feelings right now, this is without a doubt the best Mexican restaurant I have ever gone to. I have traveled various places in America as well as other countries and no matter what I have never had more flavorful Mexican food this place is in my eyes the most 10/10 place you could ever go to. I frequent this place many times and any time I’m out of the country and come back it is my first place I go to for an amazing meal. If you live around the Monroeville area you must try this restaurant out, it’s not a option it’s a demand, I demand you go here and treat yourself. Thank you patron for consistently giving me great meals throughout the years at a reasonable price as well. However not only is the food great for a reasonable price the service is great too, my main guy Pablo is one of the best servers I’ve ever had anywhere period and he is always on top of his game almost seemingly never in a bad mood, give that man a raise he deserves it. I could go on and on about this place I’m definitely a huge fan, but I’m sure you the one reading this does not have all day for my writings, so I’ll summarize with this, if you haven’t gone here before, go here, if you have gone here and didn’t like it, try something else because this place is a 10/10 5 stars...
