Sept. 14, 2025: Well 5 days later and no response from Nancy or upper management. Absolutely true my post. Carlos refused to charge me the posted price because I am a white woman. No question I am right about the Racism in this store from Carlos and Dav and Ereidi. And again no free fries on Friday said Ereidi. This Racism against whites and elder abuse needs to stop. So now I spend my money at Burger King, McDonalds, Popeyes, In and out burger. All down the street. This store does not need my money. I am guessing Carlos & Dav will get a raise for cleaning out the white people from spending their money in his store. Wait: Sept. 10, 2025. After some thought, I think it’s best that Carlos & Dav be in charge of the color of the skin of the customers. I do not need to go into this Jack in the Box. There is another one that I also go to a mile or 2 away. After talking to some of my WHITE/Caucasian friends, they too will not go in this store and bother the employees. Carlos and Dav win. It’s what Nancy and upper management want also. But beware people! It’s also about over charging for food that posts a different price which Carlos refuses to honor. Do not let Carlos over charge you. Do not let Carlos abuse you, no matter your skin color. Elder abuse is against the law. Not honoring posted prices is against the law and fraud. Also down the street is McDonalds and Burger King. They do not discriminate. Sept. 6, 2025 Sat. 7:40 pm What is happening in this store??!! Last night Carlos refused to honor the price of a burger that is listed on the board. He insisted there is no burger for $2.49. I pointed to it but he refused. After a few minutes he still insisted in charging me the extra money which is thievery. He said, I’m going to charge you this no matter what and I will take the cheese off but you will pay for it. That is not right I said. I want the burger for $2.49 without cheese in the first place. He said NO. I am charging you what I want . So I asked for the manager but Dav was on break. I told Carlos well forget it this is overcharging from a posted price. I guess I have to leave. He said good. I see Dav tell him and he rings up the burger for $2.49 but he refused to show Carlos on the screen, I have a pic. Dav absolutely refused to teach Carlos. So…. after a few minutes I realize that this is elder abuse, which is against the law. Fraud by an employee and Racism. Carlos wanted me to leave because I’m WHITE. There’s no other reason. It’s posted 2.49 but Carlos insisted on charging me $2.99. If I wasn’t going to allow him to overcharge me he was happy I was leaving. It’s crazy his abusive behavior to me. Why? Why is Nancy the manager allowing such abuse? Dav too. AND I tried to get free fries on Friday. THIS STORE REFUSES TO GIVE YOU FREE FRIES ON FRIDAY. Isn’t this fraud too? Below I posted Eneidi refused to give me the free fries. Why? What is happening in this store?
Sept. 4, 2025: It’s a lie people. You do not get free fries on Friday says the Supervisor in charge Ereidi. She laughed. She thinks it’s funny you drive there for food AND free fries and no fries. I think it’s fraud. What a bunch of Baloney! I am giving 1 Star because there has been no Air Conditioning for A Week!! It’s so hot in there! It’s been in the 80’s in Monrovia Ca. I went in there to order the same items for eight months straight, every weekday (m-f); one particular day I had a car problem and I wanted to get the same order as usual with my coupon, the "stinky" unprofessional manager told me to move my car, due to I used two parking spots, (no problem, I will move it) now keeping in mind this is at 6:20am as I usually arrive and afterward head to work as a Director of Quality/Compliance; no one was in the parking lot at this time, I was already in JIB when she asked me to move my car, I asked her can I pay for my food now since I was at the cash register, once again I will move the car, no problem, I asked her three times and all three times she said no, she wasn't going to serve me unless I move the car, so I did and when I went back to place my order, she told me she wasn't going to take my order, I said what!, what's the problem now?...she told me to get out! in front of Mexican customers that's now arriving...JIB is allowing their staff to disrespect Blacks and allowing them (staffers) to create an hostile environment...JIB your managers can learn from MC Donald and Carl's Jr. I've seen these managers and staffers of JIB acting very terrible at least four times with these bad unprofessional attitude towards Blacks, I was also subjected twice to JIB unprofessional staff, they're confrontational and while smiling in your face, again, creating a hostile environment between Blacks ad Mexican, they want to give you cold fries and taco's and at times old ground beef patties, (check your food and see if its fresh and hot, seldom) and when you ask them for fresh food they have a attitude as though they're doing you a favor.. "shame on you JIB", sincerely some of JIB manager(s) areconstantly liars and only have their own interest at heart , not JIB nor it's customers, and to confirm this JIB have a survey like now and other apps you can write and leave a phone number and they will not call you to resolve their customer service issues. As a Director of Quality and Director of Compliance: I wish my staff would do as I heard, seen and was subjected to by JIB unprofessional staffers, I would fire them on the spot, due their conduct towards any customer justified or not "you need an undercover customer" and allow them go through three to four months at any high risk JIB and you'll hear, see and feel very sad, due to JIB is failing... I will never now go to any other JIB anymore...You're running away good customers, you have become a American nightmare. When you only hire managers that are primarily one color (you're creating) a certain undesirable atmosphere towards your customers and a false sense of security of success for everyone. I truly, hope all of JIB customers write about their bad experience, they're (JIB) is playing with our kids and finances. Upper-management you should be ashamed for some of your managers and staffers dispositions(towards customer). Please keep in mind all of us who write about our bad experience are not fabricating nor wrong, you just one close your eyes and ears to the truth. Read more9-6-25 afternoon. I was at the Jack in The box Monrovia and I went up to the counter and I used a coupon and I said please make sure that the french fries are hot. I also said instead of the yellow cheese I wanted the Swiss cheese because I don't like yellow cheese and he said yes so I also said that when I was here a few months ago I went through the drive-thru two different times two different days and I said please make sure the french fries are hot but they were not hot so I explained that to the guy at the counter. When I sat down I tried a french fry and it was not hot so I went up to the counter and I said the french fries are not hot and and the hamburger had yellow cheese when I asked for Swiss cheese. He said well 20 minutes has gone by and then I said when I first sat down it was not hot and we were doing something. We were trying to do photos and so I said can I please exchange this for hot fries and he said he has to ask his manager plus he said when I gave him the coupon not to write over the code and I said you're the first person who has ever told me not to write over the code. Because I always write the expiration date on each coupon. Don't you have a display of coupons that tells you what the coupons are for? They had them do over the hamburger with Swiss cheese and the only thing that was left to do was to get hot french fries but then he said he'd have to talk to the manager. The manager showed up and she basically repeated what the guy said and then I said are you telling me that I'm lying that the french fries we're not hot cuz I told him when I sat down I did try the french fry and it was not hot and you don't believe me? Then she said that she would refuse service that I could not use the coupons and then I said well the coupon that I use includes french fries so now I cannot eat any french fries. I was thinking that and I said to her I don't think french fries cost a lot of money for you guys couldn't you just swap out the french fries for hot fries? She finally gave me the hot fries after all of that and then she said you cannot use your coupons and we won't be serving you and so I felt that in all of my life (I am a senior) having to go to many fast food chains I have never ever been told that.
