Lin's Club — Restaurant in Monrovia

My husband and I always look forward to any opportunity to stop at "Lin's Club" Chinese food restaurant on Duarte Road in Monrovia.

The owner is a very nice lady, Lin, is her name. Her husband is the chef. Her command of English is enough to satisfy our needs when ordering. You can phone in your order ahead, and pick it up. Guaranteed to be piping hot and yummy.

We always get our food-to-go, and we are salivating by the time we reach home. The seating is quite limited because the restaurant is a narrow space. A large group probably would not fit.

We always get these same dishes because they are soooo delicious:

*Kung Pao Chicken *1 container of steamed white rice *Beef pan fried noodles *Hot pepper chicken

We always have enough leftovers for another meal.

Their prices are reasonable and their portions are plentiful.

We have gone back as return-customers. We've lost track of how many times.

Parking is in a big parking lot, and we've never had a problem finding a place to park our big suv.

Worst service ever had.

Called the restaurant early ahead to confirm the scheduled order made through Doordash. The restaurant said they didn't receive it yet, BUT would when it is close to the scheduled time. However, the owner still said they didn't receive the order when I called them again before going for the pickup. I contacted the Doordash agent, they called the restaurant twice but were unable to connect with them.

I had to drive to the restaurant to show the owner my order details. After I waited there for almost 40 minutes, communicating with the owner and the Doordash agent, the restaurant owner finally remembered they set it as CLOSED on Doordash today. They didn't apologize at all but asked me to go back home to contact Doordash for a refund. They said that it shouldn't be a matter to me since I could get the money back. What a...

Y’all better stop playing. Run don’t walk! Lin out here bout to have every other Chinese restaurant you have ever been to just give up. Lol! I’m talkin bout they shutting doors and hanging up they aprons! Lins is the ONLY Chinese restaurant you will need for the rest of your life! Impeccable! Look, I don’t even know what I ordered… beef noodle something… I asked for help and the woman taking my order suggested it. The atmosphere was lovely. They had the fam in there, everybody eating at the end of the night. I came in close to closing around 9:15p. Everybody was friendly and the food came out in no time. Plus the prices are great.
