We had the chance to check out Little Skewer in Monrovia during their soft opening, and let me tell you—we ordered pretty much everything on the menu, and it was all amazing!

From the moment we walked in, the cozy and casual atmosphere made us feel right at home. The flavors were absolutely on point, with each dish offering something unique and mouthwatering. Whether it was the perfectly grilled skewers, flavorful rice dishes, or the tasty sides, every bite was a delight.

The grilled meats were tender and packed with smoky goodness, while the vegetarian options were fresh and full of flavor. The sauces they offer are a perfect complement, adding an extra layer of depth to each dish.

Apparently this place is really popular in other cities like Monterey Park and El Monte, especially with younger crowds. We decided to give it a try after church since our son is a fan of their meat skewers.

Service was quick and efficient, and the décor definitely leans into the Chinese street-food vibe—lots of drinking-related signs and quirky sayings like “Real Girl Eats Meat” and “Nice to Meat You.”

The BBQ skewers are small but tasty and a great value—20 lamb skewers for just $9! The spicy cucumber with peanuts was surprisingly good and refreshing, and I really enjoyed the grilled mushrooms. They also serve sweet tea drinks, which my son loved.

Was excited to try out a new restaurant, left extremely dissapointed. Ordered an appetizer and some skewers. The appetizer came after half an hour. Kept waiting and was shuffled to another table (i dont know why, both tables sat the same number of people. They even had to take chairs from the table they made me sit at and put them by the table i was removed from). Waited another half hour without my skewers arriving. Tried to get the waiters' attention multiple times to no avail. I eventually gave up and left (leaving too generous a tip as i only had a 20 in my wallet).
