I used to like the old owner but the new brothers really don't know how to do business nor they have any knowledge of food particularly chicken. I ordered a lot of food plus a half chicken and asked if the portion is big enough to feed my family. One of the brothers said yes of course! It's half a chicken, wing, breast, thigh and drumstick... I'm like ok, great! When I got the food, OMG... There was no breast and only 2 - 1/2 pieces of chicken thighs. I asked the brother where is the chicken breast and he said that's chicken breast!! I'm like are you pulling my leg or putting down my intelligence! There are pieces of femur with this chicken breast then, enlighten me... I asked where's the sternum and clavicle (wish bone). The brother said the femur was a clavicle!! Dude, this must be the biggest chicken ever!! Clavicle as big as a femur huh! "Where'sthe beef 😂😂." Why are the pieces so small?? Turns out they charge you the 1/2 chicken but cuts up the breast meat for other dishes....now that's cheap man...Anyhow, they gave very little food and ended up argued with me and told me I don't know chicken anatomy! LMAO! People that know me know that I know chicken... Haha... In conclusion, please don't go there. Small portions, slow, food is ok. In retail business, customer is always right... But not...

I have eaten at this place before and the food was pretty good so I thought I would try their delivery service . I made an order for delivery today at 7:30pm. They told me it would take an hour by 9:00 pm my food had still not been delivered. When I called them they claimed that there was no order for me and there was no one there that could verify my order of course I found this to be quite frustrating but the manager who says his name was Nick which I believe may or may not be his real name told me to come down to the restaurant and pick up my food in 44 minuets. I got there early maybe mostly because I was hungry and had a lot of things to do which is why I had asked for the food to be delivered in the first place. I waited there until 10:30pm and my food hadn’t started to be prepared. To wait from 7:30 to 10:30 at night for food is ridiculous if they had made at error they should have called me earlier and asked me to come and pick up the food .instead of making me feel like a liar from making an order. There needs to be better communication and more organization I understand that tonight was very busy but I felt like a fool waiting there for my food. Needless to say I left there with no food. I am very angry and disgusted and I don’t know if I will ever eat at Noor‘s Indian...

I was a regular at Mahan in Alhambra, but I moved away and couldn't go there as often and I was bummed out. So when I found out that they opened one in Monrovia, I was ecstatic! The buffet is very different in terms of the service than the one in Alhambra. A nice host serves the food onto a large metal plate. I mean a large platter with tiny bowls, each with a different dish that he explains to you before spooning it into the tiny bowls. This site has many more dishes to choose from than the Alhambra one. They have two different dessert choices, the rice pudding and coconut mango yogurt. They also had 5 different meat dishes, including curry goat and tandoori chicken, and 4 different vegetarian dishes, including lentil and chick peas. With the basmati rice, you also get a choice of regular or garlic naan. To top it off, you also get your choice of drinks, including mango shake! But the best part of the meal was the taste! Everything tasted so delicious. I just wished I had two stomachs to eat it all! All this for $15! You got to go try this...
