I don’t even know where to begin. I genuinely wish Google would let me give 6 stars. No — 7 stars, for the sheer transcendence of the experience I just had at this restaurant. The moment I walked through the door, I was wrapped in a warm, velvety hug of atmosphere. The lighting? Immaculate. Soft, golden, like sunset in a dream. The music? A playlist curated by angels. Not too loud, not too quiet — just enough to make you feel like you were in a movie where the main character finally finds peace.
The layout? Masterclass. Every table was spaced perfectly. I could have done yoga next to my seat and still not bumped into another guest. The booths were so comfortable I briefly considered asking the manager if they sold furniture on the side. The smell drifting from the kitchen was what I imagine heaven smells like if heaven had garlic butter and slow-roasted meats. I nearly cried.
And the food? Don’t get me started. No, actually, get me started because I could write a dissertation. I ordered the chef’s special — or at least I tried to — but Salvador, my server, brought me something completely different. And yet… it was phenomenal. I don’t even know what it was. A lamb chop? A steak? A slice of joy smothered in demi-glace and dreams? I devoured it. Every bite was like the food equivalent of a standing ovation. I wanted to find the chef and shake their hand — or write them into my will. At one point, I closed my eyes and just let the textures of the meal wash over me like I was at a sensory retreat.
The drinks were so perfectly mixed I’m suspicious there’s a potion master working behind the bar.
But Salvador.
Oh, Salvador. My dear, chaotic, inattentive, beautifully confused Salvador. He was like the one off-note in an otherwise perfectly tuned symphony. He took 15 minutes to acknowledge me. He forgot my drink. He brought me someone else’s appetizer, then disappeared for so long I began to think I was being pranked. And again — he got my entrée wrong. And yet, by the grace of some culinary higher power, it turned out to be the best “mistake” of my dining career.
Was he rude? No. Was he helpful? Also no. Did he seem like he was on a solo mission through an alternate reality where I didn’t exist? A little bit, yes. But somehow, in the grand mosaic of the night, he became part of the chaotic charm.
So here I am. Torn. Emotionally conflicted. Spiritually moved.
5 stars. Because honestly? If Salvador hadn’t been such a mess, I might not have had the best wrong meal of my life.
I’ll be back. Probably tomorrow.
But someone please check...

I saw a review of the fideo soup pop up in Google maps and decided to give this place a try.
The food was all delicious but our server was NOT very quick or attentive. Our appetizer was served by another server and we didn’t have silverware or appetizer plates to eat it with, we had to ask and wait to be brought them but she did bring them back quickly. Our server never checked on us. Our food was served by a very happy friendly man, he was so nice. Again we didn’t see our server to check if we needed drinks or if our food was correct. We had another person join us and had to ask the happy man for a menu and he took the new order. The only other time we saw our server he brought our new person water and the machine for me to pay on.
The fideo soup looked different than the other reviewers photo. It didn’t have many noodles in my opinion and it needed some more flavor, I added salt and cilantro and onions another person pulled off their tacos and I crunched up chips in the broth to add something to it. I would’ve asked for more cilantro but again the server. The chicken taquitos served with it are so delicious and full of chicken! They were stellar!
The el pastor meat was very flavorful.
The chicken tacos meat was a little dry.
The corn appetizer- forgot to take a photo, was delicious but a little awkward to eat since there is still some cob on it.
The restaurant is so cute and more spacious inside than I imagined.
Returned for breakfast and it was delicious and reasonable priced using good quality ingredients, plated beautifully...
Read moreI’ve been here twice and it’s great! Everything has been perfect. I love the simple clean aesthetic and the layout, the furniture. It’s comfortable and clean and the food is AMAZING!! Everything that I’ve tried on the menu has been on point. From appetizers, salsas, tacos and the drinks! Everything has come out plated beautifully and the drinks are always gorgeous and fresh tasting. And the service that we have had has been awesome. Everything comes out quick. I never once wondered if my servers forgot about me. I wish I knew our servers names to specifically brag on them but they were both very attentive. They made sure that we understood the menu and that any changes that we wanted to make were noted as well as made sure that we weren’t forgetting to make any changes to the items. They cleared plates and drinks consistently while assuring us that we could take our time. They were both friendly but not in a fake sales driven way. The level of service shows that this is part of the culture they want to cultivate there and not just a “one of” occurrence. I’m so glad that we get to have this place here in Mont Belvieu instead of having to drive somewhere else to get this cute atmosphere, delicious food and great service. I know my review is over the top but I have to say this is not a paid review and I do not know anyone who owns or works there. It was really that good and you should go, but leave...
