Lee's CK Seafood — Restaurant in Mont Belvieu

Won't be going back. Customer for when they first started. Yesterday I got 1p catfish and 6 oysters. Oysters where about the size of my tip of pinky finger they where all batter. They fail to bring the salad before the meal, and when the meal came didn't bring gravy for rice, didn't get it until after I ate the fish and oyster crumbs. The waiter's at time 3:30 is just back behind the counter just talking to each other and owners daughter. There was only 1 couple there and they all ready had their food. Tickets came they charge me for the rice and gravy even though the waiter said it could be substituted, then argue and lied in front of the owners daughter. And charged my sister double. And this not the first time we been over charged. So watch your ticket. They give you a little bitty salad or coleslaw always. And they won't compensate you in any way for their wrong doings or how the waiter treats you. Rice and gravy is a whole lot cheaper than fries to make and its already made. Placed a large order, paid almost 60 dollars. I thought the prices were fair. Went thru drive thru picked up food and a tea. The place was dead on a Saturday around dinner time. That should of been my first warning sign. Started drinking the tea on the way home and it was literally water. That was my second warning. Then got home, had a fried shrimp and fish combo and my fiancé had a Shrimp Alfredo, also bought a large gumbo. OMG the gumbo was like the tea watered down with just large chunks of vegetables and some sort of seafood. The shrimp both in the alfredo and fried was RANK AND HAD TURNED. We both through away our food. I called and explained that the shrimp was bad and was told I could drive all the way back from Baytown to get a replacement. Which was no remedy to the issue. We had stopped by this Restaurant a week or so back. Had a marvelous meal. Where or who ever they got the recipe for their seafood gumbo, eating it will teleport you 100 miles East. Definitely will match up with anybody’s cooking south of I-10, in Louisiana. Staff was friendly, food was hot, smiles were everywhere. I believe that the owners actually work this business. They were grateful to us for spending our food dollars with them. We decided to order a pickup meal, and had the same experience with associates, they got our order correct and all appetizers and condiments were as expected.
