Camila's Jazz Club — Restaurant in Montclair

We were pleasantly surprised with this beautiful location. We were greeted at the door by the owner, Marcel. He sat us in a very comfortable booth over looking the entire restaurant and lounge. Our waiter was quick to greet us and bring us our drinks and made recommendations for our delicious dinners. He served us garlic bread and dip for starters. We started with asparagus wrapped in bacon as an appetizer. For dinner, my wife ordered New York steak with creamy rice and garlic roasted vegetables. I had the New York steak with shrimp, creamy rice, and roasted vegetables. Everything was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The steaks were super tender and full of flavor. To say that the dinners were delicious is an understatement. The service was on point and extremely attentive to our needs. The live music was amazing and soothing to our ears. They also have an amazing Sunday brunch with live music 🎶 A great spot for any celebration. I highly recommend Camila's Jazz Club to everyone. We give them five...

Where do i begin...We came to see the Amy Winehouse Experience...we got here at 7:50pm..we ordered water to start off..then we ordered drinks and food at the same time 8:10pm...the water came 25 min later, while the food got ther 20 mins later...The Food came to us COLD..It had no flavor whatsoever and it was very chewy..Our drinks came 40 min later....It took our waiter 45 min later to realize something was wrong...we ask for a manager and the manager never got to our table...We timed that also...after waiting for him over 45 min..we paid and left...I do not recommend the food here at all...The people in our booth next to us also experienced something bad...To the Manager...Do better ,train your staff better...and fix your customers problems because without them, you have...

The live performance was amazing. However the food and drink service was horrendous. Drinks were not serve during entrée. My table had water to drink only. We placed our order, food was served 35mins later. Our drink orders, were served 48 mins later. Literally, after the meal. Additionally, steak dish was return, due to food safety concerns (undercooked). My party asked for the manage, and waited more 45 mins and it was a no show. The entertainment was over so we paid and left. Not happy customer with service and drinks. My party enjoy the entertainment, but not the food and drink service. Not good first impressions of...
