Clark Kent - fat on corn beef, bread was mushy, corn beef under seasoned, for a pickle you get a slice, low quality beef
Pasta salad - over dressed, pasta is too chunky
Not worth the price, no seating, most of ordering is done on a computer so less interaction with humans not what you go out for I might as well make my sandwich too
Well I adjusted my review after thinking 26 years in the business was a joke but I managed in what you think was a small place called the manor, chato, and high lawn just to name a few. If you don't know all are five diamond places that service any where from 100-300 people in one event and do multiple at a time I also worked for ala cart as a waiter, bartender, captain, and matra di but your right I don't know what you do. You shouldn't be in business if you think a sandwich is so complicated. Try to not be so disrespectful next time. If you don't believe me ask people in local government too if I am lying.
Does it really take nine people walking around to make under rated sandwiches I don't think so being I worked in the business for 26 years
Wow this guy thinks I was a busy boy 😂 he should ask around who I am and for all that know of me should not go to this place. It is rude and over rated and simple or not the customer would like quality not anything you decide to serve and then justify it the way you do. And for all that read this Rosarios just a block away makes a better sandwich with better bread for less and you get more.
Oh and just for your info a popcorn ceiling with exposed pipes is not clean it traps particles from food and outside then drops it on your counters and food like the salad bar area. I don't remember a bathroom either accessable to the public when you have tables outside that should be handicap accessible. But being you think I was just a bus boy I'll let the health department know.
I guess when someone points out your faults in your business you decide to tell others that they don't know what they are talking about or...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service during our recent visit to your Montclair location. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. From the cashier to the staff member who handed us our order, we encountered a lack of professionalism and courtesy.
The individual taking our order did not greet us properly or communicate clearly, making the interaction feel impersonal and unwelcoming. It genuinely felt as though we were speaking to a machine rather than a person. Basic customer service should include politeness and engagement, neither of which we experienced.
What was most concerning, however, was an unsettling moment when we noticed staff members laughing behind our backs. As Asian customers, this made us feel extremely uncomfortable, and we couldn’t help but perceive it as a form of discrimination. This is completely unacceptable and should be addressed immediately.
Great food means little if the service is poor. There are many other establishments that prioritize customer experience, and unfortunately, our visit to Millburn Deli did not reflect that standard. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and implements the necessary changes to ensure a more welcoming and respectful environment for...
Read moreSo check it out..ive been eating at millburn deli for 15 years..i believe all they have to do is JUST MAKE SURE THE SAME LOVE THAT IS GIVEN IN millburn nj. To the food should be the same as in montclair..CONCEPT IS AMAZING..BUT Execution Isn't really that well yet I believe they just need a little bit of time to get it together I do notice there is all new staff. maybe they should bring a few more Og's from the Milburn location to set things straight in Montclair Get it going and then back to regular schedule as usual. One thing I will say is everyone who has a negative comment should at least give them a chance because they are truly 1 of a kind deli and they are good people. All good things Just take a little time and from us I believe all they need is a little Courtesy.please be nice an give them a shot. But yes i rated 3 stars because at this point the food JUST ISNT AS GOOD AS the millburn location.but i will continue to try them hoping they get better.i hope this helps. But in the meantime if you like to try the best sandwiches in New Jersey just take a trip and go to the Millburn location and you will see why a lot of people praise...
