Tonight, I was across the street and asked the shopkeeper for a good bar in the area. They told me “Pharmacy”. On a whim, I decided to walk in and check out the scene. Made eye contact with the bartender from the door and walked over. He asked how he could help. I asked about the hours on Monday, as I planned on meeting up with someone. He said “we’re closed unless there’s an event at the theater”. So, I asked what the hours were when they’re open. “It depends how busy it is.”, he replies.
This is a relatively busy bar with a decent amount of noise level. He could not have been more monotone or less enthusiastic about answering anything, and it was palpable he wasn’t interested in helping me. There was a woman standing next to the bar (possibly an employee) who overheard this and seemed very uncomfortable by our exchange. I simply said “thanks for your help”, smacked the bar and told him “have a good night”.
If you want to bring in customers, maybe fein some interest in helping them. I would’ve came back and spent money, but this guy couldn’t even give a ballpark of what time this establishment operates, and he was just rude and uninterested.
First impression, I wouldn’t bother...
Read moreMy friend broke spilled the drink on the bar. Bartender ( Leah C) decided she wont serve us another drink because my friend was already drunk. I asked for a manager ( Kazimier Kalinka) as the rest of us were fine. After talking he charged me and kicked us all out. We have not got a chance to finish our foor or rest of the drinks that we paid for!!! Smh. At the end i asked for his business card and asked who is the owner. He said he is, i doubt it very much because on his business card it said Restaurant Consultant. So Mr Kalinka, treat your custumers better in the future! Mr Kalinka, i understand that you can not serve alcohol to drunk people. Thats how it should be. But I was not drunk. I had my food and drink there unfinished and you told us to leave. Ypu happilly charged me for everything so i should be able to finish what i paid for!!! You just wanted to show your power...
Read moreThe place is an ideal spot if you want to stop by and get a drink before the show at the theater. Have a bar on the lower section and upper section. The staff was great and responsive so my critique is not on them. The drinks shown in the picture are Desperate & Divine, and Moonage Daydream. Both were okay but really didn't stand out as anything great. Desperate and Divine had a huge cube in my first drink which is cool. Big blocks of see-through ice is always a nice touch for cocktails. Unfortunately the class was a little too thin and the icy block shattered it on the edge when I try to move it out of the way so I could drink. The bartender was quick to respond and make me another drink. It wasn't worth the $16 plus tip for each drink as it wasn't that impressive. Maybe if I had a different drink I could have had a different experience but it...
